I wish it was but more likely than not, opening the end game chat will cause "lol what?", "Are you serious?.." or "toxic SWF" feelings instead.

yeah I do the same thing. I had this nemesis completely destroy us in a game and I messaged him telling him how nasty he was. I gave him nothing but props because he deserved it. I give killers when they win or lose props except when the camp then I won’t message them at all

I always congratulate the killer if they play well & we're on the same system (99% xbox these days)

I'll go out of my way to thank them if they mori me too (its fun to die with some style)

Likewise as a killer i'll congratulate survivors who play particularly well & generally let them out of the gate or hatch too even if I down them in the end game.

Don't get that many replies but I don't really care about that either way

Coz gamers are pieces of #########. Jks lol, but I do wonder about how the demographic of the type of people who tend to play games intensely impacts their propensity for sportsmanship. Like is it teenagers? Antisocial people? Angry people who want a verbal punching bag? Idk man

I hate to be that guy but keep in mind Sloppy Butcher doesn't apply to rush hits, it only applies to basic attacks (out of power.)

I actually think there are probably about 10% of people who are on either end of the spectrum of being really nice or really rude in comments. It’s just that we tend to remember the ones who were jerks more than we remember the ones who said something positive.

You have a fine silver line between Nice Human Being and Toxic SWF/Killer.

    A fine line.

To be honest, I'm not too fond of being called a god when it's clear the survivors that were stomped were simply too inexperienced to verse a Nurse* with thousands of hours of experience. (Yes, these comments are rare but do happen.)

I was usually fine with a simple gg wp/gl hf.

Now that I think about it, the salty insulting bunch were pretty rare the last few months prior I've stopped playing.

*) never happened with any of the other killers I've played.

I mean, being wholesome makes people wholesome. Just played this match and they're being really chill. But yeah, we definitely need more people like this.

I got called an Artist boss yesterday. That was nice, for an autodidact.

Which was followed by one of the saltiest players I have seen in a long while. “you vs me and my friends, lets stream it” kind of stuff.

Heresy. You're not running Pop/Undying/Tinkerer/Ruin like all the other Blights?!

Why can’t everybody win lotto? Because if that were to happen nobody would actually win anything

That's... not a good comparison. It's always nice to have your opponent praise you or chat amiably about the match you just played. It's not a big material reward, it's just a pleasant ending to a game. Sometimes it even sweetens up a game that went badly. Money's a zero-sum game, sportsmanship isn't.

I had a really nice endgame conversation a couple days ago with a killer using a weird build - the whole team got completely thrashed, me with it, but it was such an unusual, cool, and genuinely scary game that I still really enjoyed playing it. Apparently they usually got a lot of hate for the build and were really touched that someone had fun with it.

Because I'm that kind of person that won't care about gg wp. For what to write that or something else? If I like the match or I dislike it I still go to next match. I'm not playing this game to make friends or enemies. No thanks
