change in survivors depending on time of day?
living in the EU and playing dbd, ive noticed that the kinds of survivors i go against change depending on the time of day, specifically light and dark hours.
during light hours, survivors work together, play sneakily, hiding and when they are caught, will loop somewhat then get caught before 4 gens are done. the kind of tug-of-war match that the game feels like its supposed to be, where for every couple hooks a gen is done; for every heal someone else is injured, the game can go either way. perk use is varied and refreshing (had a match on dead dawg against blendettes running iron will, distraction, and some healing perks). maps, oddly, are also varied.
during dark hours, its almost as if every nurgle team rises out of their moms basement and powers up dbd. summoning their allies on discord, they seek to bully every killer they find. you find one who goes to the double L tile, and by the time you down them (after swinging multiple times to see they arent in front of you and instead behind you), 2-3 gens are done and their team mates are buzzing like flies around them, waiting for that trickle of points for a flashlight save into their bloodpoint wallet, with the injured person running to the chained together boon totems to heal. they all leave with maybe 1-3 hooks, waiting at the gat and teabagging, their smug faces delighting in being frankly ######### to whoever they were playing against. the maps too, are usually the newest map (imo too big for killers), coldwind, or the map your killer hates playing on.
im not saying that survivors should just bend the knee, that would be boring. what i am saying is that there is a drastic shift in almost survivor attitude as the day shifts to night and i have no clue why. any helpful answers would be much appreciated.

It's a well noted phenomenon. Nighttime favors SWF more because everyone is home from school/work/whatever business they had that day and friend groups can coordinate. Daytime favors solo because fewer people you know will be available to play with you. It's also linked to killer daytime queues being longer and nighttime queues being instant.

is it a fair assumption to say that the reason that daytime queues are longer is because killers dont want to go through the stress of click clack meta perk survivors?

Eeeh. While there's an element of that, and most killers are aware that survivors get sweatier at night, killer queues are longer in the daytime because some of the people who switch to SWF at night will get their killer gameplay in during the day. When they're alone, they play killer, not solo survivor.
