I have since the start of this event been playing survivor only.Since reset I have switched to killer just to break the monotony.While playing as survivor I wondered what perks the killer was getting when we got a free hit by hiding in snowmen and some albeit questionable add ons.To my surprise(although I shouldn’t be),the killer got nothing.Yet another fish thrown by the developers in the survivors direction.I had self banned myself from these forums as the negativity mostly coming from killer mains was becoming palpable,particularly in regard boon totems what did the developers do in regard of this,not nerf the totems as many expected but add yet another feature.I have noticed recently the quality of killers has taken a dip as most have either switched to survivor or given up entirely.I fear we are staring into the abyss of this games demise which is a shame as I have played it for over 5 years.I know some of my “veteran” brethren will hit me with,”it’s better than it was x amount of years ago”,in many ways it is but in many ways it has taken a turn for the worse.Broken MMR system,several server outages,broken gameplay favouring survivors and developers cash grabbing by bringing out ill concieved new characters both killer and survivor or cosmetic skins to play dress up doll instead of focusing on the real issues.This isn’t a rant for intangible reasons or a eulogy before the I’m leaving this game,it is said because I do genuinely care for the game going forward and like most on here have had invested a lot of time and had many enjoyable hours of gameplay,however lately things have taken a turn for the worse and I fear the game is now moribund.
