Curious why do killers get so upset when they get ran?

So I was playing against a pig today with my bf and I ran this pig for about maybe 3-4 mins and after she downed me she started spazzing out telling me "no" is this a sign of frustration?

Chasing people too long is a mistake.

She could have been frustrated because she wasted so much time or you bmed her and she wanted you dead anyway.

Frustration is normal when you play weaker killers because you can't do much about certain tiles. Bm'ing however is unwarranted unless you bmed her.

I guess they get their feelings hurt. People seem to forget it’s just a game. Lol

Part of getting good as a Killer is to note when to drop a chase.

You do not chase a decent survivor to the shack with the long wall jungle right next to it. You chase them a few seconds to gauge their skill compared to yours and then leave if you notice that you have no chance on this tile. Get to another survivor who is on a weaker tile or worse then you, down them and look to intercept if you notice somebody running for the hook...

Killer is more than looping and getting good as a Killer requires this. You should reflect on your mistakes and not get frustrated if you want to get better as a Killer.

That said, your opponent is probably not very good. Do not care about those players they are here and you have to deal with them. Do gens, leave quickly and hope for a better opponent in the next round.

If your opponent got frustrated they made the wrong decision. Wasting time with bad manner is also not a good idea...unless you are having fun with the survivor of course. Booping the snoot or tbag contest with Ghostface is such fun for me but not everybody's cup of tea.

She was saying : " No, I am not playing ######### M1 killers anymore. Back to nurse."

    Or something like that

You must understand that playing a killer in dbd is very frustrating and stressful.

It was fun back in the day when gens werent done in like 4-5 min like they are now done.

You could loop some survivors, have fun out of it. Right now you have to catch him within 2min or you lose too much time to win.

How did you run into the pig killer btw? I cant have any killer besides wraith or huntress

With Boon exist, you give up for another target is actually a mistake. Since everyone can be the same efficient in chase.

Plus, you're chasing an injured & exhausted survivor. If you dare to give up a chase for 30sec, they will be healthy & regain exhaustion perk.

Funny how "it's a game, don't forget that, chill" is valid only when a killers is tilted, but when a basement Bubba appears(or any camping/slugghing/tunneling killer), then , they are toxic and shouldn't play like that because "think about others fun!".

If you get camped/slugghed/tunneled, chill bro, it's a game"

Not exactly the same. I don’t get upset when I’m camped or tunneled... I usually give a gg and move on to the next game. I still think face camping shouldn’t be in the game, but that doesn’t mean I’m mad when it happens.

    1) maybe not you, but there are a lot of hypocrite survivors

    2) face camping is a valid strategy and by where bh is leading the game, it's becoming more and more common to face/see this strategy.

    Blame BH.

    Disagree.

If another target is outpositioned or less optimal in looping it is not a mistake.

Chasing someone you can't get in decent time is a mistake.

I'm inclined to agree with this. I think it all depends on map positioning as well - if I'm chasing someone and they're in a particularly strong set-up even if they're injured I'll often leave them, especially if I know there's other survivors in weaker map positions...it's just wasting time to continue that chase as you lose so much pressure.

Additionally sometimes if you break off of a survivor you can’t catch they sometimes follow you hoping to get you to chase them some more if they think you can’t catch them. In which case you’ve got two people not doing gens for the price of one chase.

That's very true, it's the cockiness sometimes that gets them killed!

Probably because they couldn't do anything about it. Loops force killers to waste an arbitrary amount of time.

Frustration. Killers are under time pressure. Having gens pop mid chase just squeezes that, and I'm guessing, Piggy knew that.

Maybe Pig was mad because you didn't jump in a Snowman and it was all she wanted. Just jump in the damn snowman already.

Did you boop the snoot? People think Pig is just a simple creature that you can just buy and forget but they're a lot of responsibility and work. You must boop the snoot AT LEAST twice a match to make sure your Pig is happy and well taken care of.
