Finally, another psychological horror killer?!?!

I’m seeing a lot of talk of Sadako/Samara being like Demo or Spirit. But I HIGHLY doubt that’s gonna happen. If you’ve seen The Ring movies, you’ll know that it’s psychological horror. I think she’s gonna be much similar to Doctor considering he’s the only psychological horror killer so far. I guess she’ll have things like random graphic image pop ups on survivors screens and maybe illusionary pallets like doctor. Thoughts?

    Spirit is a psychological horror killer... For the killer player. I mean, people literally just disappear. Pretty meta.

    Legion kinda came off as an Amogus killer but what we got were 28 stab wounds.

    I'm not even gonna try and speculate

    While true, Legion isn’t licensed while Samara is. So I’m assuming they’ll try to stay somewhat true to the movies like they do with Freddy, Myers, etc…

    The round will start with all surviors sitting on the couch and then Claudette will find and put the video tape into the VCR and then after watching, the killer comes out of the TV and then the match begins!

    I’m hoping for something like if a survivor looks at her too long they become cursed with Hindered or Exposed. That would be a killer that you actively try and avoid looking at which would be kind of cool!

    Another possibility is she has the ability to mark survivors, or possibly the current Obsession is automatically marked, and she has some sort of edge against the cursed target.

    And finally maybe they’ll put televisions or wells, etc, around that map that she can teleport through.


    The only thing official they’ve said so far was just the interview with Polygon where Cote said they want to make her unique and suspenseful compared to typical killers. So I definitely don’t think it’ll be a Spirit or Nurse type ability but something more along the lines of curses.
