I've always liked the idea of this perk because it fits with my playstyle, but bummed that it's mostly only for bloodpoints.

    It's worked a few times for me, and the all-seeing add-on, speedy altruistic actions and extra BP make it strong, even though the niche is so very slight it ironically should have barely any use at all.

    Reminds me of Bloodwarden - a perk which barely works, but when it does it can devastate survivors.

    Both could do with tweaks, but ranged unhooks I don't think would work. Instead, maybe when the final gen goes you can see the aura of all survivors you've either healed or rescued, with a buff to your altruistic actions and BP correlating to how many you helped up to that point.

    On a side note for Bloodwarden, maybe make it so that any survivor hooked after the 5th gen grants maybe a 10 second Bloodwarden (has to be 10 seconds for each separate survivor), and if a hook happens once the gate opens, an extra 20/30/40 seconds will be added, regardless of who is hooked, although was that happens there can be no more stacks.

    No way he just suggested "ranged unhooking" bruh that sounds like the most unbalanced broken suggestion I ever heard lmao.

    On a serious note there are many ways you could make the perk better, such as changing the activation requirement from an open exit gate to when the final generator is completed. That way you can get use out of the perk earlier in the endgame match, but without initiating the endgame collapse that creates a time restriction on the plays survivors can accomplish. But the line is definitely drawn well before we get to the point that survivors can use magical telekinesis powers to unhook other survivors from a distance.

    It could use a buff, but not ranged unhooking.

    I would just make it activate when the last generator is done, rather than when the exit is opened. Then also make the bonus bloodpoints awarded post-trial (so you can go over the cap like you can with WGLF and BBQ).

    You're absolutely right. After making this post, I used the perk a lot over the week. Adding ranged un-hooking, while overpowered sounding (lmao) would be useless anyway. The meta is to 99% exit gate switches, which makes the perk useless in most altruistic scenarios. Your idea, which is the same conclusion I came to after equipping it for about a week, might fix that issue.
