How would people feel about this offering
An offering you can put on which prevents the random choice of each map. Which can only be overruled by map offerings of course unless a sacrificial ward is provided

So for example one offering you can put on and unless there is a map offering. Which stops you from going to say game

What?

For killer and survivor

I would actually be on board for this- I would use the hell out of a simple "send me anywhere Except Here" offering, and it seems fair that it'd be overruled by the map's associated regular offering.

Meh, anything that'll keep me out of RPD. A broken RPD badge, I suppose.
I want them to be brown offerings, though.

An offering a killer or survivor can put on which will prevent them going to a specific map through random selection. Can only be countered using a map offering

I can see this being useful for killers who are map dependent. The issue with that is imagine you're playing Billy and you're trying to avoid an indoor map, you can use an offering to not go to lerys sure, but then you get sent to the game, or rpd.

It still lowers the net chance of going to A Bad Map for you, though. Instead of three options the game could randomly pull, there's only two, in this example.
1 -
It's a chance you take

A better offering would be one that could prevent all indoor maps or outdoor maps, depending on what you want.
This could also be good for stealth killers who could remove outdoor maps with an offering.

OK and what if one offering for indoor comes and one offering for outdoor.

It would just be random, like what happens right now when 2 people use 2 different map offerings

I am super on board for this and it would be good for tracking purposes so that the devs have an idea of what maps are being avoided the most

I would love an offering like this. Anything to keep me from getting Haddonfield, Swamp, and RPD.

Remove map offerings anything that has to do with map offerings...and also the hatch and basement offerings also.

That feels like a band-aid solution. If choosing maps is a problem when there are busted maps to choose, then what should be done is that busted maps should be fixed.

I'm not sure I agree with that- in theory, it's not a bad thing for certain killers to perform better on certain maps than others, and it's equally not a problem for them to have unfavoured maps, either. The standard should be brought up so some killers aren't screwed over quite as much by the map as they are now, but in general, the idea of wanting to avoid certain maps because they put you at a slight disadvantage isn't fundamentally broken design.
Both approaches at once is what I'd suggest.

Sure, I'd be okay with that.
1 -
Ahh. Yeah I’d be okay with it but it might clutter up the bloodweb even more

Honestly from Scott's 7.0 spoof video, killer should just be allowed to choose up to 2 maps they don't like.

I dont want my RPD badges going to waste so I'm against it.

What can you possibly like about rpd. Its one of the worst maps in the game and has survivors best interests over killers. Rpd and eyrie of crows are both at the top of the worst ever maps list in the game. I would rather go to Haddonfield over rpd

TBH there's enough worthless garbage on the bloodweb without adding as second version of every map offering just to avoid it. And what happens? You burn and offering to avoid the game and just end up on Midwich instead.

I would be perfectly happy if they got rid of map all map offerings entirely and just let the maps all be randomly selected.

It's a good idea on paper, but:
- it's a marginal effect especially because it gets countered by the specific map offering for the place you want to avoid. You'd be better served to burn an offering TO GO to a decent realm, rather than one that makes you avoid one of the possible bad ones.
- There's too much bloodweb clutter as it is and this one would only add more to that.

I would select RPD every time.
