Does video tape make pig stronger?
Thematically, i love the video tape add-on for the pig. And, in my mind, since all survivors have traps on their head and all four traps get used... i thought that it was surely making pig stronger. But after playing it a couple times, except with rules set n°2, i think that pig was actually getting weaker since you can't pressure all survivors at once; and they get their traps off fast (but here as a whole team).
What's your thoughts?

Haven't played Pig in a while so I didn't know lol.

Stronger than no add-on in that slot. I’m not saying it’s stronger than other possible add-ons.

Burning through all your traps at the start of the game makes your early game better, but it isn't really the best way to make use of Pig's traps. The benefit is better when you spread out trap timing to constantly influence the pace of the game. Traps also don't give the same power value as they used to with nerfs to tampered timer. Thematically, I feel BHVR's changes robbed some of Amanda's innate character in the sense that she's supposed to be a Jigsaw disciple who cheats others out of their chance to win by engineering near unwinnable games.

Pig's traps are mainly used to slow down the game/apply pressure to the survivors, so having them all used up at the beginning of the game isn't that great.
Survivors could remove all 4 traps before a gen gets done, and even then you don't have any traps left to apply mid-game/late game pressure (Unless you bring an addon). Pig then basically becomes a M1 killer with no mobility or map pressure.

I think I have about 50 of these. I used about 10 of them shortly after the change, which feels like quite a while ago now to be honest. Those games were tough. 100% this iridescent add on is a nerf of her power. In a lot of those games I played it with the add on that blinds survivors from the boxes until the traps are active, which sounds like it should work so well. The way the gens seemed to fly later on in those games just felt like nothing I've seen in any other games.
I'm sure I'll try it again at some point to refresh my memory, however I definitely remember this feeling like quite a large self nerf. I run no add ons quite often, or at least I used to, and that felt better than this.

It's basically Corrupt as an add-on, it's not too bad though. IMO it should keep 1 bear trap in your kit as a buff to the add-on.

Neither if paired with Rule Set No. 2 and make a build around it. I've gotten a 3k using it and the only reason a survivor got out is because I didn't care enough to kill them so they got the door after I closed hatch.

My strategy at the start of the game is to look for survivors near gens, but when they start with the traps on already, you basically just make it so that they can either be on the gens or the Jigsaw boxes and it's twice as hard to find them.

if you pair it with Jigsaw Annotated Plan she becomes stronger since she can get some time in the early game to get the ball rolling + another trap for the survivors who get it out quickly.

One of the many meme worse-than-nothing addons, it hurts far more than it helps.
