New Killer:

Name: Unknown

Age: Unknown

Gender: Male

Hair Colour: Green/black/brown

Eye colour: Green/yellow

Power: Enchanted melody

Weapon: Violin.

Speed: 115%

Terror radius: 32 m.

Origin: Scandinavia.

Background:

Once upon a time, a set of tales arose from a small village. Tales of a monster living in the river. Tales of a beautiful haunting tune, tales of missing people…

Such was the case. Most didn’t believe it to be real, but as more and more people went missing. Something seemed strange in the village. The cops were searching far and wide, but nothing seemed suspicious or out of the ordinary. Every house where people had gone missing showed no sign of a struggle, no break ins, and nothing about them showed reasons as to why they would disappear.

Using tracking dogs and the latest equipment at their disposal. All signs lead them to a nearby murky river in the forest. Footprints were embedded into the mud leading right down into the river. The cops searched it far and wide, but there were no bodies or signs of a creature.

As each night went by. The cops would get a call from the residents about a haunting tone. Screams from the forest. Eyes staring back at them from the river.

The tales became news wide media, and people started moving away from the village, as each house was rotting away from lack of maintenance, but no one wanted to live in the cursed village given the amount of missing reports, but sometimes. Some nights. Some people dared to venture to the river. Only to never be heard from again.

Powers: Enchanted melody.

The nøkk comes with the ability to play an enchanted violin that creates a melody that looms around the killer for 10 seconds, alluring any survivor looking in his direction within a 8 meter radius to walk towards him against their will for 2 seconds. After the 2 seconds have passed the survivor can snap out and gain control, if they look away, and or the melody stops.

goes on a 13 seconds cooldown.

(works a little similar to ghostface, but in the opposite way. To avoid his ability, the survivor MUST look away or be out of the music zone. Looking at him while he uses his power, will cause any survivor nearby to be stunned)

Second ability: The Nøkk comes with the ability to form a mud puddle underneath him.

While inside the puddle, the nøkk is able to move at faster speeds through any objects. With the exception being stairs.

Goes on a 7 second cooldown.

(while close or when the Nøkk enters out of the puddle, the sound of air bubbles can be heard from the mud puddle. Giving survivors a small heads up)

Killer perks:

Echo: The killer comes with the ability to hear footsteps 25/35/45% louder, and can see small sound waves from the survivors feet as they move.

(cant be seen as you're phasing. Sorry spirits, but that would be a little too much. You can still hear the footsteps though better)

Fresh Tracks: After a survivor unhooks another survivor, their scratch marks will be visible to you through walls and obstacles for the next 15/20/25 seconds.

Call of the deep: Any totem broken/blessed will cause every survivor within a 50 m radius of the totem to let out an almighty scream. Revealing their aura for the next 6/7/10 seconds.

(Potentially useful as well for letting you know where the boon is placed)

New survivor:

Name: Paige Namara

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Hair Colour: Dark brown

Eye colour: Dark Brown

Origin: USA

Background:

Paige was a detective that worked in a relatively small state in the US. There usually weren't many cases, but one day they got a big case for a missing person. A 9 years old daughter of a known family in their city had disappeared. She started to interview the family and relatives along with trying to find clues. One thing led to another and she ended up investigating a swamp house that had been abandoned for a while. She snuck inside the ominous shack. Before she had any time to react she would suddenly get struck from behind by a shadowy figure, knocking her unconscious on the floor.

She would wake up to find herself tied up and gagged to a pillar. She struggled against the restraints, trying to free herself and attempting to yell for help, as she heard footsteps creeping closer to the room she was being kept in. She struggled even more as she stared intensely at the direction of where the footsteps came from, before she slowly got enveloped by the mist, never getting to see who abducted her and possibly also the person she was chasing, as she got transported into the entity's world.

Survivor Perks:

Watchtower: A boon totem is rooted in place. Revealing all dropped items, chests, generators, pallets, vaults, gate levers, hooks and lockers to all on map within a proximity of 25/30/35 meter radius. Only affects one totem.

Slam: A heavy pallet knocks the killer back by 4 meters when stunned, and reveals their aura to all survivors for 2/4/6 seconds.

Camouflage: While crouching near a totem, your silhouette is slightly darkened more than usual. Works in a 7/10/15 meters proximity of any totem unless its broken. While crouched, your breathing is lowered by 65%, as well as any injured sounds.

New Map:

The Silent River

Out in the forest near the river, where a once thought to be happy family resided. Now abandoned and missing with no trace.

The Nøkk/Nøkken/Nixie/Näck goes by many names in folk tales. Some with different twists or entirely different stories, but this is the one I'm most familiar with, and I thought it was intriguing and fitting for DBD.

As always, thanks for reading. I really appreciate it. I post these first on steam.
