P3 Characters / Fully Perking Out

Hi, As a long time player and 1 who has P3 and Fully perked out all Characters may I make just a simple solution to that grind?

My partner and I who regularly game together either as a swf or when playing killer games always talk about how things could be improved upon in the game and how a simple change would make P3/perked out Characters easier to get done. Bearing in mind just how many perks there are now.

So here's our idea :

First 50 levels and P1 - everything starts the same. I know it's a grind 1.5 million bloodpoints per 50 levels.

The easy change ....

P2 - All perks start at level 2

P3 - All perks start at level 3

We think this would encourage more people to p3 all Characters as the grind would be more rewarding and quicker the further you prestige a Character.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I think something like this is a great idea.

I also think it would be good if at level 50 of each prestige you automatically gain all unlocked teachable perks (so at level 50 of prestige 1 you get all unlocked teachable perks at tier 1 and so on.

Like OP said, something like this will encourage prestiging.

I would remove perk tiers altogether but this works too.

This only helps if you assume the problem with grinding is the optional blood cosmetic side of things. And not the geometrically increasing number of bloodwebs that you need to clear per character to get the perks on them.

Like, let's assume you have all killers with all perks. Ignoring Demo, there will be 26 killers next release, with 3 more perks. Each perk will have 3 levels, for 9 total. You can do 2 perks a bloodweb at best, so that's 5-6 levels to get them all. That's 125-150 more levels added in perks, on one side of the game, in one release. And then it'll be 130-156. Of level 50 bloodwebs.

You might note we're at the point where you're getting more levels added in perk unlocking than you are the first 3 prestige levels of a character (and more in BP cost because it's all level 50 webs).

It took me 103 bloodwebs for I’m all ears.

than I immediately had to prestige.
