Just about done with this game

To whoever may read this, if anybody,

I'm just writing here because they pretty much shut down their support ticket submission system and replaced it with a bot chat and I can't get through, which pretty much spells out that that BHVR doesn't give a ######### about anything I or anyone else has to say. Big surprise, yet here I am.

I'm a survivor main that occasionally plays killer. The reason I only occasionally play killer is because I'm bad at it and the experience is horrible. I like to play as Myers and Nemesis mainly. After months of not playing killer, just played as Myers and got 2 kills. Fair enough, right? Next match, played as Wraith, a killer I haven't played with as ages. Got matched with a 4 man SWF that flashlighted and Head On'ed me to oblivion. Didn't want to DC so I just let them finish their gens and leave. No motivation to try to win. In the end game chat, they felt so bad that they felt the need to apologize to me.

I'm not a hater of this game. I absolutely love it, but the total lack of consideration to killers and the broken matchmaking system is real and is disturbing. BHVR, if you want to alienate killers and kill your game, then by all means, go ahead, but it would be sad to see this game die because of that. Many killers have abandoned this game and for good reason. Fix your game or else blame only yourselves for the consequences if you don't.

I've said my piece. Later.

Sorry to hear of your frustration, it gets to be like that with this game a lot of times and then it's good to take a break for a while. I've done that a couple of times this year (especially during the RE chapter release and the mess that it was).

Just wanted to bring it to your attention that the support ticket submission system has been temporarily shut down firstly because there's a backlog of tickets they need to get to and secondly, because BHVR's offices are closed for the holidays, they re-open on the 3rd of Jan. A quick search here in the forums would have told you that - I haven't visited the forum in months and have been here once a day checking out what the people are complaining about now for the past 2-3 days and from the couple of threads I've read, I already know that the BHVR offices are closed now - so I do believe you could've just checked before you posted this rant and claimed that this proves they don't care.

As someone who works in the property industry (I work for a student accommodation rental company) and has to deal with people not respecting our work hours and my private time pretty much constantly and expecting me to work when our offices are closed (because they want accommodation NOW and they have no consideration for whether or not our offices are closed for the holidays, they just assume we are open 24/7 to handle their requests when they snap their fingers), I hate this attitude of entitlement. You said BHVR doesn't care because they've shut down the system, but have you looked into why it's shut down? The entitlement of people constantly expecting people to work even during dedicated down times (when offices are closed) is disgusting. Especially this time of year when most people know that a lot of businesses are closed until after the new year for the holidays. If it was another time, I could've understood you not checking beforehand or just assuming that it is proof that they don't care, but this time of year, there's a valid reason.

Please keep in mind that the people who work for BHVR are PEOPLE too and deserve a break once in a while too, no matter your (or anybody's) dissatisfaction with the state of the game.

And to be clear, I also have my issues with the game and things I would like BHVR to change/improve, so it's not like I'm their biggest fan. But I do realize they are a company that people work for that also need breaks from work from time to time, they can't keep going 24/7.

I don't mean to be rude (so sorry if I come across that way), but I have to admit what you said triggered something in me, because I deal with this kind of entitlement and expectance to work 24/7 all the time, so I just wanted to bring it to your attention, maybe others too, so that they can realize how it feels on the other side and maybe be more considerate and patient this time of year.

    Dude this is gold.

I find it even more triggering because its over something as ridiculous and non-consequential as a computer game.
