Get rid of the red glow

Do you mean the glow around injured survivor portraits or the red stain that killers have to show which way they are facing?

My main problem with the red stain is that on PC on low settings it comes through the walls very clearly either because those walls already have small holes, just because its literally visually glitching through the wall.
I think it provides a console based advantage if I'm to be honest. (Not that we didn't already know playing on PC was an advantage)

The Red Stain is an essential tool that can be manipulated to your advantage, remove it and many mindgames come with it

I mean honestly, even now I see it when I play on the PS4 but maybe thats just some last gen console #########.

I can promise you it's still a thing on both bugged out consoles and certain PC rigs

You do realise faking the red stain is essential to many of the mindgames in dbd which is widely considered one of the most fun parts of the game right?

Could of sworn they fixed that like 2 years ago, they probably just messed it up again.

They probably did - I thought it was gone, too, but while I was messing with my own rig I got the stain clipping (was unable to fix it for about a week) and I've seen it on a friend's vods

It's always seemed odd that killers have to glow, there are so many other ways to find us, that one really seems excessive. Makes it so a killer HAS to use a perk or addon to be sneaky. I mean, you hear the heartbeat getting louder, my noises, would it be so hard if you had to actively look around to see me? I play Pig and GF, survivors seem to spot me pretty easily just because I'm moving.
On the other hand, maybe it would. Without it, survivors might not ever be able to loop. They often run right into me despite the glow. I dunno.
But glowing? Seriously? Seems like a lot.

I saw another post asking for the red stain to be tied to movement direction and camera direction.
Wouldn't that just eliminate any mindgaming at all?

Have you considered running Beast of Prey? You sound like the type of killer that'd bloodlust a lot, and it removes the red stain when you hit Bloodlust 1, might be helpful, who knows?

Why do survivors get to see which way im coming before I even turn the corner. Its stupid. Why should I have to walk backwards to trick you.
