not that I've heard... and with the absolute trainwreck that the latest event was, they won't be getting any cash from me, DLC or otherwise.4

The prices are disgusting. Why are there outfits more expensive than entire DLC? Sure hope they don't have the nerve to increase those prices too.
Friggin 10 dollar outfits...really? Then to top it off they strangely make those outfits cost the 1080. So if you did buy the 10$ auric cell pack it basically negates the "bonus" that none existent bonus goes even further into being pointless. They really went all out....
There are already bundles. Spend an entire 50$ and get a whopping 20% bonus. Enough to buy just one more of those 10 dollar outfits.

LMFAO 😂 Idk why I'm laughing so hard at this post, maybe because its so true LOL
lol and I want some of those outfits. But there is no chance in hell I am willing to help set that precedent. SIngle outfits costing half the price of the entire game currently. The shards too....21,000 shard for outfits? bruh. Then you can't even use shards for some of them. Might as well just let people do it for 42,000 as 21,000 is already going to take forever

i agree that they are too high.
im certainly not spending 10$ on a single skin.
maybe they'll reduce the prices once they have more skins available? like, 30 purple skins for each killer / survivor or sthg like that.2 -

BHVR is starting to become blinded by greed. These outfits should cost $5 at the most. $10 is more than a chapter, which is something that consists of two new characters. Are you seriously about to tell me that more work goes into making a damn skin than a brand new character?5

I'm not saying anyone in this thread is wrong. I get where everyone is coming from. It does seem a little silly for a single skin to cost more than a DLC. I look at it a little differently though. The skins aren't for the casual player. They are for the players that put hours and hours into the game. I don't really like to think about how many hundreds of hours I've put into the game.
But from that perspective, the game is a steal. I've probably spent 10 cents an hour on this game and I purchased most of the stuff near full price. So I don't really mind dropping 20 dollars every now and then for skins. Compared to some hobbies like Magic the Gathering that is nothing.

In my case I am interested in a lot of them. I do however not like that a good portion of them would make me more noticeable. Yeah...im still at that level of newbness where being noticeable matters.
But besides that. I could just NEVER in good conscious pay that much. That is just throwing money away even if you love the game beyond belief and want to support them. I could MAAAYBBBE use that kind of logic to convince myself to buy just one of them but still haven't. All in all if they were a couple dollars. I would've bought a few of them. I am however never going to buy them at current price.
One slighty refreshing thing is I play on xbox. The more expensive outfits aren't all that common. Other than the backpack punk nea I never really see them all that often. Which means a lot of people also feel that way too.

It's all relative. Whether you think the cosmetics are cheap or expensive. If you are in college and you are barely making ends meet then 10 dollars is a lot. If you are in high school living with your parents working a part time job with no expenses and a fair amount of disposable income then dropping 10 dollars on a hobby isn't a big deal.
To me the biggest factor is how much time do you spend playing the game? If you were to calculate your expenditure on a per hour basis then how much value are you getting? A 2 hour movie that costs 8 dollars is a 4 dollar per hour expenditure. To me, this game is one of my main sources of entertainment. For a hobby, it is incredibly cheap.
I realize that for this game to continue getting balance and event updates, community reps keeping the players informed, customer service resolving issues, etc, etc, it costs Behaviour money on an ongoing basis. The initial sale price of the game and a few DLC's aren't by themselves going to be enough. The more profitable the game is then the longer they will continue supporting it.
So even if you personally, can't afford or don't want to continue supporting the game then obviously that is your choice. But it is in your own best interest to avoid discouraging other players from supporting the game. Cosmetics are 100% optional. You don't need them to play. So if you don't want to spend the money on them then don't. But instead of trying to make players who do support the game feel bad about wasting their money, you should be grateful to them for supporting the game you enjoy playing. So you're welcome.

Not because of lack of dedicated servers, or issues with matchmaking, rampant bugs, balance swinging back and forth ridiculously, or toxic players, but because of the event?
The event was fine. It showed how different players play and got people into other roles. What didnt you like about the event? Was basically free bonus points and 2 free outfits. Plus queue times were faster for me than ever.0 -

Well that was a quick shift.
I bought all the DLC. You're welcome.

I had just about 2000 hours in this game before the store was even introduced, I got more than my monies worth.
The developers are making all future DLCs earnable and therefore need to bridge the gap for the people that wont buy the DLCs.
They are cosmetics you don't need to play the game so I say let them price them how they want, if you want an outfit so badly you feel like you need it then pay for it, if you can earn it, go for it. If you don't want it that badly then don'ts spend money on it.

All I asked was if there was a mention of sales or a price adjustment. I’m not discouraging anyone from buying anything. This forum is going way off topic, if you want to spend $10 on a cosmetic then by all means do what you want. Its your money. People make the biggest deals out of the littlest things, take a chill pill. I said what I said.0

Nope but it's crazy that a game with such low quality is being sold for 20$ on PC & 30$ on console and they want you to buy every new killer & survivor that comes out for 5$ each and they sell cosmetics for characters for ridiculous prices, so with all this money they're making... There's still no Dedicated servers in this game? We have a game like Hide or Die coming soon and they have dedicated servers. So with all this said...... This game should be free to play.2

While I do agree with you to some extent and understand what you're saying, as someone who has brought DBD skins with $ when they first came out, I do feel that $10 for a a single character cosmetic in the game is overpriced which his why I've decided not to purchase any more with $ since. While yes, making $ and being able to cover costs keeping the game up to date/relevant/constant updates/events is all part of running a business, if a significant portion of players are complaining about the price, then changing the costs can be better for them; or at the very least have sales. Just as an example and using a simple round figure, if 1000 people buy/are willing to buy a skin for $10, but 2000 people are willing to buy it if it costs $5 who won't buy it at $10, then they will still make the same amount of money off that same skin. Perhaps even more beneficial if that number of players willing to spend money if it's cheaper is more beneficial. The other thing is if people are then willing to pay that amount, they're probably more likely to spend that little bit extra and say get $20 worth of auric cells rather than just $10 and get that skin that they really wanted, along with others because they feel like it's decent value. Whilst they really just wanted that 1 skin and otherwise would've just paid enough to get that one skin, they've now spent more because they feel like they're getting better value. At the very least that is why they should have sales at some point for the same reason.
And whilst I also think the iridescent shard(IS) pricing is high, I don't feel like it needs to be changed. I do however feel like that the IS is a reflection of the current $ cost of them though, as in I feel like I'm spending $10 worth of iridescent shards for a $10 skin for example. So if they were to keep the shard pricing of the skins but had the skins feel liek they were cheaper to buy with real $, then I would also be more enticed to spend actual $ as the shard pricing would feel more like a grind.

Stoped reading here.
I mean ######### ?
How is this even an argument ?
Like said above, Devs are blinded by greed since the release of their store, and it will only stop when there will be no cucks left willing to pay DOUBLE a DLC's price for a set of 3 skin.
Why would they stop at the moment ? It work like a charm.

Some basic items are cheap though: plaid shirt for Kate was 1800 Iridescent I think, and it looks hot!
Other than those, you don't HAVE TO buy these, only if you want to support BHVR. Or if you're rich and don't know what to do with your money (in this case, contact me).
And "greed"... wow. Maybe bad pricing policy, I guess, but they try to run a business. You wouldn't expect them to continue giving new content, chapters, balancing and tweaks for the meager amount we all paid for the original game?0
