This made me laugh
This part of the developer update part 2:
Coup de Grace
This one’s a bit of a rollercoaster: It was originally toned down because it was too strong, but then that made it a little too weak. We’re bumping the lunge increase up to 70/75/80% (also shortening the gap between different tiers of the perk, woo!)
Not the perk change itself but the last part.
Just the irony of being proud of this when the community pleads for the removal of tiers on ALL PERKS for years by now to reduce the grind.

I mean, they called Wraith overpowered, so them saying that one of the weakest Perks is overpowered doesn't surprise me tbh.
But if stats say it's op then it is clearly op. (This was sarcasm)

To be fair they said the original version when it first came out was overpowered but they nerfed it too hard. I never used it when it first came out so I don’t have an opinion on how good or bad it used to be.

now you get to grind more for tiers that barely make a difference woohoo!!!!!!!!!

Tbh this does reduce the grind a bit. If you're a veteran of this game you'll remember a time where the difference in % was so huge that tier 1 perks were basically empty slots. Enduring for example used to reduce the stun recovery by 25% in tier 1 and 75% in tier 3, so taking the tier 1 was useless. At least the tier 1 now is useable and you don't really need to grind for the tier 3 if you want to just test a build with it.
I'm still in favor of removing perk tiers though.

Let me start by making clear that i understand that you are not defending anything here and are also for the removal of perk tiers.
But the problem that remains is that the other tiers are still clogging the bloodweb and desired perks get blocked.
There have been more than enough threads on here that complain when specific perks, like my baby BBQ for example, don't show up in the maybe first 50 bloodwebs on a killer.
The multiple tiers are at fault here and the devs even show some form of pride in my quote that they are even more useless now but still a thing. Pure irony.
