The new Beta tab needs to be utilised for perk changes in the future
At the moment, it takes 3 months for the devs to do things like add a token to Distortion or buff the aura reading of Buckle Up by 4 seconds. This is way too long and leaves the community feeling frustrated with the slowness of perk changes.
Now that they have added the beta tab for all platforms including console, there's no reason not to take advantage of this new feature to do more perk changes. Surely they are now able to do 2 or 3 perk changes every 2 weeks or so. You can't be slightly change 5 perks out of 191 every 3 months and expect people to be satisfied.
If the devs are mainly going to make slight changes to perks, it needs to happen more often using the beta tab.

I'm not sure if the Beta tab will be made for perk changes as the whole point of the Beta tab is to test out things that can still be done without a download etc...as this is where it becomes difficult.

How?
The beta tab is for client side QOL changes like the wiggle skill checks feature. It wouldn't work with anything balance related, such as perk changes.

BHVR shouldn't even need a PTB or beta to test new perks - They should just give everyone seasonal perks to be tested even if they're variants of existing perks for changes. Just label them BETA perks in game and give them to everyone and when testing is done take them away.

Would be a bit weird having two survivors with the same perks but other effects.
If it would work i wouldn't mind itp

Now that's an idea I could really get behind.

Thats not how the Beta-Tab works.
They just need a constant PTB Server and would open it like two weeks per month. Then have two weeks to look at the numbers and change them again or implement new features to test out. PTBs like this are literally not worth it to switch between live and PTB for some hours and vice versa. But I guess they dont have the staff to do work on balance like this. Otherwise there wouldnt be so little changes on perks and so on. Like it doesnt take much time to just change some numbers at least.

I know the situation is different but overwatch does have an experimental mode to test out balance stuff so maybe that could be done and have it be a seperste match making pool (same thing happens when a ptb is released through it would be on a larger scale)
