first time blighter
first time playing blight and i cant get a single hit, when i go against a blight they are hitting me around trees and rocks, yet i cant hit them, so they swing before they hit or after? and i not turning fast enough?

Swing early to use the rush’s huge hitbox and make sure your sensitivity/dpi is high

it has a lot of factors. Map awarness, learning what is slippery and what is not, etc…
Blight is also as you noticed. You rush ans bump and then you have 1.25(?) second of reaction time to chain lethal rush.
your DPI has no need to be massive. Play it how you feel comfortable with. Then slowly increase it - same as shooter games or any others.
Blight is hardest to play. Those who flick you around trees and corners have invested 2-3 digit hours into blight.
Start with simple. Then move to harder.
1) Hit box - field
From lethal rush with attack you convert into lunge.
The fraction of time, where you go into lunge the hit field or we is proper term, will be aprox 180 degree, after converting into lunge it is much much smaller
So the right way is to get onto survivor and do a hit without going lunge. Its always mind game as you need to flick/tilt mouse/controller into side he tries to dodge
2) Bump logic
You need to bump around to get survivor zoned so you can land hit. Orientation where you bump, spin toward survivor and continue. Hardest part tbf
3) Side Bump
Before bump flick into side, which will help you with smoother rotations
4) Hug tech
Bump into car/wall, get closer to hug it, look down -> rush and slide
*Some objects wants you to look up
5)Moon rush
upgrade 4) by before going rush, look slightly one side and with rush look other way around
