Is it taboo to play as Jonah or something?
I just got hard tunneled out of three games in a row. I just want his Adept, but I can't survive past two gens.

Some people will specifically tunnel out the newest character because they may be less likely to have DS.

Dunno, I played him once to get adept and I got it first game.
But I am seeing Jonahs quite often in my games and they survive as much as any other characters.
Maybe you just got unlucky

If I had to guess it's he comes with boon UB.

"Jonah"
I think you meant to say war criminal ;)

I only aim for adept when new killers come out since they all suck and lose. Good luck trying a million times in solo que

TBH I've never seen a Jonah in any of my games that wasn't going for adepts. I don't see a point in tunneling him since all his perks are awful.

No, people ask this all the time but it's not real.
You only have your own experiences to judge this, so if you find in your overall limited experiences one character seems to get tunneled more you could come to that conclusion.
However if you could see all loss rates adjusted for you either playing exclusively as that character or not at all you'd likely see little change.
Ultimately you'd have likely lost those matches unless a difference of perks or camo could have saved you, Jonah isn't Taboo.

A couple of reasons i can think of
New character so chances of DC are lower
His own exhaustion perk is useless when tunneled of hook.
His perks in general are tbh awefull, you're practically playing perkless so easy target

Anybody else remember when he came out all the hype about how Overcome was game breaking…? 🤔
I think I called that one correctly. An ok perk but not nearly as good as a lot of people ranted about.

I use it over Dead Hard a lot of the time.
It's so easy to get really good value from and basically guarantees that I won't go down immediately. It's ceiling is lower than Dead Hard's (not that much lower, but lower) but it's floor is way higher.
Likewise, I think I could see it challenging DH if there wasn't validation. Now, there is absolutely zero reason not to take DH if you are any good at the game.

Like I said, it’s an ok perk, I can see people using it as much as Lithe or Balanced Landing for instance. There were people claiming it was literally the best exhaustion perk in the game and was extremely overpowered.

And like I said, I think it's as good as SB and could have challenged DH, had DH not been indirectly buffed.

Yeah, i'm probably undervalueing it but for me it's close to the worst exhaustion perk.
The effects are ok, but being a dead perk off hook or against any kind of instant down really brings it down for me.
Out of all the perks you bring, your exhaustion perk is the last perk you want to be wasted

Yeah, we’re not disagreeing. 😄

I'm yet to do his adept.
I was waiting so I wouldn't get tunneled out lol.
Imma wait out a little longer.
Plus I just promised a BUBBA I'd play as Jake today so he can get his mask.

How so? He had no idea that the messages he decoded would lead to the village being bombed, nor did he even know the CIA would bomb the village. He also immediately went in afterwards to redistribute supplies from the rebels to the village, and clearly did not intend for any of that to happen. Wracked with guilt over it, too.

I would play Jonah and then make my username J. Jameson.

yeah, all his perks are awful, therefore its easy to tunnel him

I see lots of Jonah in my survivor matches. He's almost as common as Feng Min. They always have full perks (DS, boon, etc).

Were they wearing a Bubba mask?
