How seriously do y'all take the forums
This is not to be pretentious, sarcastic, or rude, I just want to get a general idea of the common mindsets, opinions, and ideas of the people on the forums.

Lots of posts on the forum are just people wanting immediate nerfs to something after a bad game. Like wanting a nerf to DS because they got hit by it. Those posts are pretty lame so I don't take them very seriously.

il take this forum more seriously when the smug armchair gamedev will stop pretending they are smarter than BHVR and anyone who disagree with them.

The forums have become the butt of a lot of the jokes that me and my friends make so, yeah, I just don't take this place seriously at all, not after how people go at each others throats over something as stupid and simple as what chapter they think could be coming next/want.

A lot of posts on the forums are really biased and unrealistic, so I don't take those kind of posts seriously. But I appreciate it when someone makes good and valid points.

I don't really understand the question, but I treat posts like they are talking to me personally. Sincerely regardless of if I agree with the rant, joke, etc.

Serious when it comes to matters of debate or contentious topics that are opinionated.
That said, It's good to unwind with the various less serious threads and have a laugh once in a while too.

FYI: I voted half n half.
I like to see other people's opinions on things relating to the game (even if I really disagree) and sometimes share my own opinions. I don't take it super seriously as bias is often fairly blatant in many posts (not trying to claim I'm any better, I've made many explicitly biased posts before). Even so, I try to at least understand other's points, albeit with a grain of salt. Overall, cool people, can get kinda heated at times though. A lotta posts are clearly made out of anger (which I've also done in the past to be fair).

Depends a lot.
I've made a rant post in the past which shows I can be a bit too serious, plus I take some threads seriously mainly when it comes to things I dislike (Nurse, Noed, DH etc).
I do however often take other posts in a much more casual sense, often trying to make small jokes here and there rather than contributing to the discussion.

I learned a lot and sometimes I find forums helpful. Also it can be fun at times.
Rest of the time tho, people are too one sided and focused on wrong things instead of looking at the bigger picture when it comes to dbd.
