Is trickster worth learning/playing

I'm starting to care less and less about if I win and wanna experiment with killers I'd usually not play. Is he fun to play as? I tried beforehand on release but he felt awful.

A killer being "worth" playing depends on you as a player more than anything else, so the best advice I can give you is just to try him out and see what you think. He's changed since release though, so it's worth giving him another chance.

if you like camping for kills and tunneling, yes, against bad maps and good SWF you'll be forced to. but the payoff is huge if you catch SWF in a bad spot. they won't be able to recover as long as you're not a potato.

This is true. I'll follow this advice by trying him out

I went through the trouble of playing Twins for a while and people said u could only camp and mass 4k slug with them. I hope to find another way from doing that because that's boring for me

The short answer is no, the longer answer is I wouldn't recommend him in his current state. He's not nearly as weak as when he launched but he's still nowhere near the top. If I were to try and compare how he feels to other killers I'd say he feels like a mix between huntress and plague but isn't rewarded as much as either for using his power. He's good at camping though I guess.

He is good on short wall loops and in the open and as others said he is a really good camper. The problem map rng and if a suvivor has some distance to you and makes it to a high wall loop or shack, you are basically forced to completely drop the chase cause its gonne be nearly impossible to down them in a decent amount of time.

Yes, if you are a true pro gamer. If not, the only option for weak players are just camping and tunneling with him.

You can shoot thru the little crack with his knives especially on shack. I normally play him cause the subtitles translation that got added. If anything he the only killer that swear after a stunned.

I have started to play him a lot after they nerfed Deathslinger into oblivion.

He is quite decent after all those buffs and fun for me, so give it a try.

Everyone is right, but theres one thing that makes him absolutely worth it. The very moment you catch a survivor in a deadzone and watch them melt into a pile of daggers in the span of five seconds.

That and losing a survivor when they're max laceration, only to see them from afar and land a 20m dagger throw like your in a CoD montage.

Well after a few games I've learned to never touch this killer again👍

I recently started playing him and really grinding with him and I have to say, yes. He's much stronger than I ever gave him credit for. He's kind of a demon if you can get a 4 gen set up and create dead zones. All about getting good with the knives and using them efficiently for most of your hits, then getting good value out of Main Event.

I love playing him but i can see why some people wouldn't.

His flavour and little giggles are just *cheff kiss* for me

There's nothing to really learn about trickster. He has a bit of recoil which counts ig. But trickster is literally just look and spam knives. That's all he offers and that's all you'll get out of him.

I got trickster a few days ago on console (9K Shards) and the first game I got 4k against new survivors and the next games were against red rank survivors. pretty bad SBMM for this new killer. after some games playing against red rank survivors, I switched to another killer.

he is slow, plus the recoil... even though on console he is labeled as "easy".

He is fun to play but dont expect to be spoonfed by his power.

No, he is high effort ok reward.

You will have a better time with Huntress or Deathslinger

A good Trickster can beat any Fox. He actually has a higher chance of winning at high mmr because you are likely to earn a DC if you land all if your knives before they make it to a strong tile.
