What add ons do you use on freddy?
The one iris useless dream pallets seem like a meme most of the time (and for some reason got nerfed along side the rest) The chains are pretty bad currently. I don't feel survivors fail skillchecks enough for the dresses. So currently i just run both nancys. Maybe throw the photo in for a DMS build but thats pretty much it.

Dream protection add ons are the best. Paint brush is ok, as is pill bottle for a little bit of extra stealth.

I typically just use boosted BP when survivors activate snares...
I think the skill check one was meant to punish people waking up without using Clocks but doesnt seem that much of a punishment...

Good luck if your actually playing Freddy. The iri that makes survivors begin the trial asleep is actually pretty decent, aside from that though I'd say they range from barely noticable to just plain awful.

The only addon that kinda worth running are both the nancys like you said all the other are worthless and even the nancys are not worth investing bp in the killer for them.
Freddy is in need of a rework at this point evem if the killer is bad the survivor hate him. So just give the freddy player old freddy like that at least the player will have fun even if this make you look bad

Nancy’s masterpiece, paint brush, black box, pill bottle, swing chains and the block that makes snares cause blindness. To be honest, your perks are what matter on Freddy since his addons are pretty much garbage. I use a full hex build every round. Essentially a modified forever Freddy build.

Blue Dress and Wool Shirt, those are the Skill Check Add-Ons. But I also run Oppression and Lullaby on Freddy.
He is such a dull Killer to play, at least something which is a bit interesting to use.

Freddy’s base kit is terrible. Now that I think on it, none of his addons make his basekit any better.

Anyway, the answer... is worse than it seems. I will cut to the chase: his add-ons suck. Massively.
Nancy's Masterpiece and RPB might be your only options, but it is not like you are going to feel a huge difference.

I only use a brown add on to change to pallets

I don't play Freddy because he's incredibly boring. But if I did, I would probably use his "dream projection" Add-Ons. Because those are honestly his only decent addons. Every other Add-On he has is absolute garbage.

Paint brush and pill bottle. The only ones that really seem to do anything anymore.
I liked dream pallets but the new meta is to toss every pallet and keep running so it made them less useful.

I use any of the missed skillcheck addon's and the dream projection addons. Freddy really doesn't have any good addons even though it's not hard to come up with some.

The rare times I am freddy I prefer dream pallets his stock traps are kind of lame to me.

The mini blood warden and the one that reduces how far away they can see me when asleep.
Paired with Blood Warden, Fire Up and NOED. 4th perk slot is open.

The dresses actually. I like running them with overcharge, unnerving presence, and Distressing.
1. Gives some nice slowdown throughout the game, and gives some decent information.
2. No one ever expects it on a Freddy so they don't really know how to play around it.

Why wouldn't it work if they're asleep?? They're afflicted with oblivious, you're not undetectable. Which means them being asleep does nothing to your terror radius. The oblivious means They just can't hear the terror radius, they only hear the lullaby. But if they're still in the terror radius, they still get affected by things that they normally would like unnerving. Yes, the terror radius is reduced to 24m, but it still affects them which is why infectious still works.

Don't bother with any of them.
Paint brush makes for a good early game, but it being iri makes it pretty #########.
Black box is an embarrassing addon.
Pill bottle is neat but really hard to make work.
Class photo is good for some giggles but not being able to cancel tp is surprisingly painful.
All the block addons are absolute ass and should literally never even be considered.
Swinging chains sound cool but are unusable in practice. Footsteps being louder in chase is pointless because of the music.
The dress addons are absolute ass and should never even be considered.
The dream pallets are far worse than snares.
The drawing addons have too small of values to be usable
The rope addons are absolute ass and should never even be considered.
You are better off hoarding the addons and waiting a proper addon pass.

Typically none.
Most of his addons do so little or are practically useless that I find it better to run nothing.
But of his addons the few I would run are:
Dream Pallets (mostly just for meme builds), Dream Projection Cooldown, Paint Brush.
I haven't tried Black Box since the change, but I've been hit by it a few times as survivor so it's okay.
I wouldn't recommend it, but you can run Z Block and Bloodhound. I've done it a few times and it kind of works.
I used to run the blindness blocks as a counter for OoO, but haven't since OoO was reworked.
Lastly I have done some meme games with the dress addons (extra regression on failed skill checks) and red brush to see if it works with perks like oppression. And from my limited testing, it does not appear perk influenced skill checks count for the dress addons so there's no point to them existing since you can't synergize them with anything.

You got the dream projection cooldown addons and that's about it honestly. Red paintbrush is nice but even then I find it kinda questionable since forcing them to wake up at clocks means they get that 30 seconds of dream immunity which is not fun to deal with. So yeah, dream projection or bust I suppose.
