Should the trial end if the killer closes the hatch?
Okay, I have this weird feeling that if the killer closes the hatch, the game should end there, I think it's not fair that after all the match, even if he closes the hatch, the killer still have to worry about the exit gates, some killers and some maps, you won't be able to patrol the gates at all, not to mention that it makes adepts more difficult but I do agree that if this is implemented to the game, some Challenges for the tomes will be impossible to do.
What do you think?

Agreed if the match ends if a surv open a door

What happens to the remaining survivor? Do they just escape? Do they get taken by the entity?
How would Keys work?

Nope because the survivor could get the far away exit gate and open it before the killer get there. If we do this in that case when the survivor open the gate it should be an automatic escape for all the survivor in the trial.

No. Hatch is an alternate win condition for survivors. Not a killer win condition. Shutting it is irrelevant and keys still exist as counterplay to closed hatch as is.

Why? Sometimes you can escape. Or the killer lets you go.

Not even a win condition, more of a you lost but here's 5000 points for your troubles.

Nope, it isn’t over till you’ve either killed all survivors or they escaped.

I suppose that is correct, they do not even get mmr for it.
