HWID Ban
Hey community,
yesterday i got banned for an offense i commited in late 2017, i hacked legacy on my main and two smurfs which i actually never touched since then. i dont wanna argue, complain or cry, i know that i did deserve to lose 2,5 hours of progress for that offense. the thing is that i'm almost certain that i got Hardware-id banned, since i bought a fresh account that got also banned within an hour. do you guys have any experiences if an appeal would make sense or if the hardware ban is for a limited time/ permanent.
needless to say that i regret doing it in the first place, i regreted it immediately and pretty much never used it in fear of getting banned.
i've never gotten an unfair advantage over anyone in the game or behaved in a rude manner. i don't think that I deserve a complete exclusion from the game, what are your thoughts ?

It doesn't matter what our thoughts are, it's what BHVR thinks.
You can submit a ticket (maybe you've already got one since you got a ban) here if you wish to talk to them

Cheating is cheating is cheating.

YES!
If this is true, they are MAC banning now.
I'm sorry to say, but hacking has to be a zero-tolerance thing in DbD. It's such a plague and BHVR can't really say 'well, this hacking is okay, but that isn't'.

It´s laughable how these fellas quickly ban people for hacking cosmetics (because it affects their wallet), but you can see the same survivors running at haste speed the whole game for months and they don´t get banned.

We do not discuss bans publicly.
