Really bad analogy
If you want an explanation and analogy makes no since when it comes to player skill i would say listen to Scott's take on it. I would also add that most really good survivors(and i would take a good survivor as good in chases and good in decision making) usually don't care about getting out. Most good or confident survivors do what? They go try and find the killer right off the bat which doesn't make a lot of sense if you are looking to survive the trial. They also tend to make risky saves as that is the more fun than most things in this game. So if a survivor goes for a risky save at the end to save someone of the hook that means they are worse? I do not get what the devs are looking at. The easiest way to make a SBMM system is what they did. Not because its the best indicator, but because a true SBMM system would most likely be impossible for this team to accomplish. Why not just say that?
