what happened to pinhead's box icon

when I was watching pinhead ptb footage a few months ago I liked seeing the puzzle box over a survivor portrait. and I liked when a survivor was solving the box ihe icon would transform like in the movie. when pinhead came to live I was disappointed that we didn't get to see this cool graphic. why was it removed? and will it come back in a future patch?

I think they did it for the timer of the personal chain hunt that the circle provides more clearly for your teammates.
I agree the original graphic looked way cooler though.
