Recent changes and the event made this game ez for hi tier killers

...and if you can't win with Blight, Artist etc. right now i have to tell you that your MMR level is too high. Everyone is going for envelopes, this event isn't fun as solo survivor because your team isn't doing gens and is running into the killer straight from the beginning just for a stupid envelope. DMS is insane on high mobility killers, i mean the recent Scourge + Pop meta was already good enough, now the healing boon got nerfed (rightfully), but please don't complain on the forums because in 1 of 20 matches you play against a sabo squad with Boil Over. This game is definitely winnable for killers right now, if you play well enough.

Just take yourself to Eyrie or Pantry with Boil Over. Get to the right spot and you auto-win because you can't be hooked.

That only works with a smart solo Q team. Or with decent friends. And even so the killer can just slug, or ignore you and take out the team. And even if the whole team has the same idea they are a basically most likely what I would call a "goofy squad". They just plan on messing with the killer and throwing the game.

You can basically take the game hostage and not only win, but force the killer to AFK or DC. With a little bit of coordination, it's literally impossible to hook anyone or keep them slugged.
Until this is fixed, as well as the ridiculous disparity in BP gains from the new event (which honestly needs to be retrospective for me to be happy about any changes made now, survivors get double what the killer does, if not more) I'm honestly not at home to any balance complaints from survivors right now.
That may sound mean, but it is what it is.

I have no complains my friend. I actually love that buffed useless perks and turned them into useful perks. But I don't think that is a perk "issue", rather it's a them needing to put hooks in areas that don't have hooks. Such as the RPD library, and I seen hooks spawn on top of the tower. So I guess make a hook up there a guaranteed spawn.

that's right, i faced sabo squads myself recently (it's kinda "in" again) and they're quite annoying, but they're only dangerous when it's done in moderation (2 on gens, 2 sabo or so). Most of the time their gen speed is quite slow. Rusher-squads who split up and break possible 3-gens around the map are much more dangerous.

no you can't force the killer to DC, it's annoying yea but you can just let them bleed out or slug them.

Slugging is no where near as effective as it used to be. There are more than a handful of perks that help in this regard. UB, BE, SG, WGLF, NM, any healing perk (lots of them), all this allows for quick ups and heals. If you can slug a whole team without anyone getting up.......You hit the lottery there. I have been having a blast as a solo survivor (helps they get more BP now) anytime we lose it;s always because of the same 2 things.....a DC or a survivor or two think they die irl if the killer catches them. Not saying it don't happen a scary amount but when all 4 participate it's GG EZ.
