Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

Why I think BHVR is having a hard time balancing DBD

Note: I'm writing this and then going to bed. I will respond tomorrow :)

Note2: We all know that the devs need to listen to their community. We don't need to beat a dead horse.

Ok so, Scott said it perfectly.

"If you buff I'm all ears and out it on clown; is that OP? No! Of course not because it's clown. However, put buffed I'm all ears on nurse and is that a bit unfair? Well yeah it is.

This is the case with many killer perks. The strongest killers will be too oppressive.

Now if you buff survivors to compensate, that's an issue because survivors are too strong. There lies the issue. They won't do the heavy nerfing that they need to do for survivors, and so their only option is to buff killers; and they won't give any sizable buff to them.

If you need survivors there ARE certain aspects that you need to tone down for killer depending on how much you're nerfing survivors. However, I think that big nerfs to survivors would allow for better game balancing, and thus more killers; and mega thus, better queue times. Bad queue times are one of survivors main complaints.

Let me know your thoughts!
