which of these two survivor perks are worse?

Member Posts: 541

The following two perks are infamous for being terrible but which one is worse is it the team killing inspiration for very little benefit Sole Survivor? Or is it the extremely pointless Buckle up? Only one winner gets gets to challenge No Mither for the grand championship.

    Buckle up

Sole Survivor at the very least has a passive effect that can help against BBQ and a few other aura reading perks thanks to the aura reading reduction from sacrificed survivors (even if its effect is blatantly outclassed by Distortion and Shadow Step). I don't think the killer aura reading from Buckle Up is worth it, and you'd pretty much know when a survivor is recovering up when they're staying still.

However, both are terrible perks in need of desperate changes.

    Sole Survivor

Sole Survivor's ranges make no sense. The only common aura reading to bring it against would be BBQ and Lethal. Lethal activates before it ever has a stack so that's irrelevant. BBQ's range is over 40m, which means Sole Survivor needs 2 stacks before it even functions, and at that point it's only effective between 40 and 48 meters. It's terrible. With 3 stacks it could theoretically be decent, but at that point the last person has already died and BBQ does the aura reading before SS gains the third stack.

    Buckle up

At least Sole Survivor covers your aura, but Buckle Up is literally useless.

The only perk somewhat decent killer perk I can see SS doing something with other than B&C is i'm all ears. Not a common perk but i see it once in awhile
