Cheaters are back
And apperantly they have higher MMR than BHVR.
SBMM works flawless here
He tries to heal, nurse calling spots him, he notices me ~ instant heal. 3 times in a row. And the end at exit gate, he Tbags me - totally deserved :D
I did a report via dummy button. But I am not surveillance system, so no video evidence.

High hopes during qna on this topic.
Interesting they have job opening for cyber security

I heard someone say (no links or proof so possibly just a rumour) that they are running the anti-cheat in the background to detect cheaters at the moment before issuing a ban wave
Wishful thinking? Possibly...

A cheater just held a well known German streamer hostage for the last hour and a half. That was one of 4 cheaters on his stream so far....
They really need to disable the DC penalty as cheaters are holding games hostage and you get punished for leaving unless you want to be trapped in a match. Either way you cannot play the game

I was going to say 'No, the game becomes unplayable with no DC penalty' but...sure.
Let's see how many matches end when Survivors bring Boil OP and RPD offerings alongside Circle of OP. 😇

The disconnect ban is only five minutes unless you do it every single game. And cheaters don't appear every game, and they don't usually hold it hostage completely when they do - when I come across them, they usually just try to move at superspeed when they think nobody is looking.
I don't think they've ever screwed up a game so bad for me that I've had to disconnect. If they did, I'd just eat the five-minute ban.

On the other hand, though, games were a hell of a lot easier that time that they did remove the DC ban. Sometimes I'd get 2 or 3 a game, and a DC is almost as good as a kill as far as pips are concerned.
Sure. I'm all for it.

I'm one of those that am always in favor of the DC penalty, but at this point they seriously need to just turn it off. It seems since the last update they came back in full force just to spit on what BHVR said on the last Q&A, and it's always the type that holds the game hostage until you're forced to DC from it. I'm already at half an hour penalty and I never DC for any reason other than a hacker game.
I wonder if BHVR can't just do the same as Tecent Games did with PUBG mobile and go into a lawsuit against those hacker groups: https://dotesports.com/news/tencent-krafton-to-receive-10-million-in-damages-from-pubg-mobile-hacking-group. It's not like they are a hidden group or anything, you can literally search "DBD hacks" on Google and find plenty of groups that sell them. At this point it's just plain and pure harassment what these guys are doing so maybe they could win something.

And the great thing; Since Tencent won the lawsuit against hack-makers; This sets a legal precedent where others can sue and win.
That's why new lawsuits are always under so much examination; Because the win or loss sets how future lawsuits can go. Tencent winning means hack makers are a legal target for lawsuits from game companies.
