Is the Prestige worth it?
I've always prestiged my characters because I heard you're supposed to get better stuff more often, like add-ons, offerings items, ect. But I'm not sure if I notice much of a difference so can anyone tell me how true it is? Or if it doesn't make a difference? I don't really care about the bloody cosmetics so other than for the cosmetics is it worth it?

If you don't want the cosmetics than don't do it. You get to lose all your perks and add ons for no trade off. Doesn't that sound fun and rewarding for the player?

If you do get better stuff from prestige, the increase is so low that it's really not noticeable.
Right now it's just for the cosmetic or if you want to be a completionist. BHVR has said they plan to add more prestige rewards, but who knows if that will ever happen.

The improved chances of rare things in the bloodweb is a flat out lie. It's been tested many, many times over.
The only benefit to prestiging is the bloody outfit, however there's been a lot of talk that there might be a rework to prestige down the line so you could also do it in the hopes that the change is good.
Personally I always prestige a character I'm levelling up because I wouldn't like to have all of the perks on them at P0 and feel like they were still somehow incomplete. Also if there IS a prestige change in the future, it would mean ~100-200 levels of wasted bloodpoints if I were then to prestige.

Doing it now is about the best time since the envelopes give a ton of BP just try to get closer to a million before you do and burn through your add one and no boosting items. Otherwise it's like the others said. They boost is rather small and your reward is one item per prestige.

I tend to prestige my characters just because of fear. Fear that one day I may decide I want that bloody cosmetic and all those points I poured into them dug my a deeper grave.

You decide if the bloody cosmetic is worth it for you.

Prestige - Noun - Widespread respect and admiration felt for someone or something on the basis of a perception of their achievements or quality.
This is the purpose of prestiging. Anyone remember the older Call of Duty games? It did not reward the players with much of anything. People did it because it took a long time and gave a sense of progression.
I'm all for that. I prestige every character because I enjoy building up each character, I have a completionist gamer mentality, and because I do not want to deal with the cost of not prestiging early and wanting to do it later on.

Of course not. Unless you really want those cosmetics and have BP to spare

It's definitely worth it around events.
Prestige and level up a character to get an ungodly amount of envelopes for max BP and event items.
It also gives you something to do and strive towards.
For rarity in bloodwebs? Not worth it.
For everything else? Mastercard

Prestiging is only good for the bloody cosmetics, but that's about it.

I still would want a checkmark box for head / body / weapon slots as you prestige, and have a somewhat general blood shader effect be applied to all cosmetics, not just the default ones.
Its kinda disheartening to prestige when you already got a more interesting cosmetic, maybe from an event, maybe bought with shards, unlocked. It feels kinda pointless and limited.
I also give a strong vote for all perks being automatically upgraded to your prestige level, so a p3 would only find purple perks etc. This would at least give some incentive to prestige your characters and help lessen the immense grind.
I remember that I didn't get any of my usual perks when I p3ed my Pyramid Head, like non at all, until I was 5-6 levels beyond lvl 50. Not eveb a yellow BBQ. The grind was brutal and totally disheartening.
