My personal changes for DBD
Im not at all saying that these would make the game better for everyone they are just things i would like to see
replace the bloodwebs item and perk buying noises with a piano or less irritating version of the same thing. take the character level up sound and apply it to the character prestige sound instead.
idk if the obsession noises are necessary but there was a really good one
At the start of the match replace that weird pointless abrupt start sound to the intro literally just like the first second and add a war cry or signature from the killer after the game starts that lets you know who they are (this isn't a balanced thing and some killers can even be completely silent ex mike legion ghost etc)
Since you are going to notify us anyway, why make it so i can hear survivors getting killed from for ever away it seems? maybe all new screams can be added so it would be a quick and kind of loud yell or something that can still be heard within the area because they just sound like frustrated children to me or that one lady who bumped into you and decided to scream for help because you were harassing them after potentially surging argument xD
Maybe this isnt important but the struggle music from second hook to death makes it hard for me to concentrate maybe grunts and other noises would be okay on their own???
Pyramid head ringing terror radius is not fun to listen to or scary imo but the chase music is perfect...
after being exposed chase music plays for a small amount of time?????
jumpscare noises are weird except the one from the endgame timer death
i really thought that there would be more but this is it i think ik just noises
if you were looking for things that affect game balance then id say
reduce radius of boon totems
make dead hard a dodge skill instead of a free health state skill then if you do that maybe shorten the cooldown a bit
not a professional critic don't have to take me seriously like i said i didn't make this to hate on anyone who enjoys the atmosphere of the game they are just my personal opinion on things i would like or change
