Yeah, killers have been doing that to survivors who bring Boil Over. He was probably upset that you brought it.

I can't survive without the meta because killers camp and tunnel, I can't use the meta because I'll get camped, tunneled and slugged. This is the proof that the game is balanced in a really messed up way, but killer mains really believe they're underpowered when there was a hook right infront of him before he started doing this and I wouldn't had wiggled off.

Some killers are just really petty when it comes to survivors using perks that they don't like, so they do whatever they can to make the match miserable for the survivor using said perk(s). It doesn't matter how you use it, some killers will still get upset no matter what.

Had a match against a SWF on RPD with Sould Guard. 2 of them always ran up to the same spot, from where i couldn´t reach the hook. Slugging was useless, since a hex was active. One of the other players disconnected and the last survivor was the only one doing gens.
So, in your opinion. What is the killer supposed to do in this situation?

Survivors know this perk is broken and just plain unfun and unfair to bring, so if you still choose to bring it regardless then yeah I totally understand why this killer did it and I would do it too. My streamer friend was running it too but he had to take it off as he got hard tunnelled every game as soon as the killer realised he had it.
If you want to bring something knowing it results in unfun games for the killer, expect unfun tactics in response (I am a survivor main too btw).

Thats why I started using Iron grasp and agitation when I play killer, the game is messed up on both sides but the thing is I didn't deserve it this game, I was literally playing normally, I don't bring it for the 25% fall increase, I bring it for the killer mobility down and my wiggle speed standard

Slugcamping is best way to secure a kill btw, there is pretty much no counter perks for it as long as you are determined.

He tried to take you to a hook. Probably couldnt see one due to boil over. What other choice did he have? Stop using that broken skill and you wont bleed out. I do the same if i dont see hooks and i see boil over.

I mean, look at the map OP is on. Boil Over can absolutely be broken and unfun... on certain maps. For the majority of the maps, it's stronger but it's fine, and Gideon's doesn't have any abusable spots to my knowledge. Maybe one of the gaps down to the second floor if you're lucky, but it's not a guarantee and there are hooks down there if you manage to get the killer to drop there anyway.
OP is right that this is childish. Boil Over isn't OP, it's abusable on some maps, and there's no reason to force someone to bleed out just for bringing it with intent to use it legitimately.

Killers often can't get to hooks if the survivor runs Boil Over, especially on indoor maps when a hook just round the corner doesn't have an aura. He could leave you and down you later on but probably still won't get to a hook.
Why are you running such an obvious greifing perk and then complaining about getting slugged?

Both sides are the same in that regard. I don't tunnel, slug or camp anyone or rather go out of my way to avoid them and still get called noob killer for my perks, for example bamboozle or bbq.
I still want to run an experiment where i equip noted but use an instadown or special attack killer and avoid any use of noes and see if i get salt or not. But i am pretty sure I will still get called out for having noted, no matter how i play or if i used it.
So once again it is more of a "people on the internet covered by anonymity" thing rather than one side.

With the current gen rush meta, killers can´t really afford to play without slowdown perks. So having to take Agitation + Iron Grasp means they´ll likely have to choose between having a match that lasts 5 minutes or having a match where they can´t hook survivors.
This choice isn´t exactly a fun one.

Oh, yeah, I would do that too to be honest. Deny my hook at your own peril. You will get a taste of your own medicine and you might not like that rancid flavor.

Hooks not having an aura for Killers could easily throw someone off and they'd miss it, because normally hooks are super obvious.

Never overestimate people's perceptive ability. It's not lit up like a christmas tree? Must be scenery. Looking for hook aura... oh, all the auras are far away, bleeding you out it is.

Also boilover rarley even works out for me anyway, it's a just incase perk, competent killers work around it, I've had these slug camping issues ever since this perk was changed

It really doesn't, no one can save em when camp king revving saws and even if one save em he has enough speed to activate BT and still reach em.

I would recommend you to step back, take a deep breath and calm down. This is just a game... If it annoys you so much, then stop running boil over. Or accept the fact that some killers will just slug you for it.

You can't just use the "it's just a game" argument "I Just shot your son lol" it doesn't matter what it is you are allowed to get mad, I get camped and tunneled and slugged and slug camped so often even without boil over, even before this update that my win/death ratio doesn't look good yet I still have high MMR

Basically saying I cannot have fun playing this game really and being told "it's just a game" makes it even more frustrating that no matter how hard I try the game is just never in my favor, all killers just go in assuming the survivors are out for blood and that's stops me from being able to play casually, which is weird because I am competitive but having to sweat all the time isn't fun either. Killer and Survivor mains can both agree the devs don't care about their players or their game.

Thats Bullspit. I play on Console, it is not easy trying to counter those movements on a 100 percent new, functional controller. Try it on one you've had for 2 months with selectively bad deadzones (it only affects this game somehow, #########??) That make certain angles not even work?
Outside of that, why does this perk have 3 great effects? what's being said is how strong it is on vertical maps, what's being ignored is it's strength on almost ANY indoor map. Name a single killer perk that gets as much value in one single perk? It's overtuned, not to mention the fact the counter for it is literally two perk slots. And let's just hope it's not paired with flip flop, Christ almighty help you if they run that, you don't even need that much coordination to get massive value out of it

In your situation? bleed them out.
But in the video OP posted? he could have hooked her easily, OP is right, this is just childish, that Blight was petty beyond reason and it does put some light on a problem with Survivor perks, you use meta "META SURVIVOR ALL SAME PERKS NERFNERFNERFNERF", they change a perk "HOW YOU DARE CHANGE [PERK] AND SHAKE META, IM GONNA CAMP AND BM ANYONE WHO USES [PERK] FROM NOW ON!!".

...It's really not that bad, and again, in this example Boil Over is achieving very little beyond getting the killer mad. Gideon's has plenty of hooks in that area, this was just being mad at the existence of Boil Over.
Also, it doesn't require two perks to counter, if you struggle with the strafe movements you bring one perk, Iron Grasp. And that's if you struggle with the strafe movements, it doesn't require it. I'll grant it's probably harder on console, but that doesn't even slightly translate to leaving survivors to bleed out because they're using a totally legitimate perk that you happen to find harder to handle?
Boil Over is not OP, oh my god. It's just something you notice now.
