Lurking Stripes and BP Modifiers

So I'm assuming the BP gained from the event is only technically granted post match meaning BP modifiers don't boost the amount of BP gained, regardless of the fact you see the amount you earn for each separate BP gain event in game?
Not sure how to feel about this but I guess BHVR doesn't want you to be getting 100k or so BP each game if you bring WGLF or BBQ? ...I guess?
