Does anyone else find killer relaxing?

Or am I just crazy? I don't think the role is easy, but I don't take it so hard when I lose. Sometimes I find end game chat behavior a little horrid but oh well....

Ngl, I do. Not always, some matches are stressful, but other matches end up with me kicking a engine while a survivor repairs it endlessly xDD Those are good times.

Yes, I find killer as relaxing as I want it to be, because it's all under my control.

Solo survivor on the other is very stressful to me. Good think I only have to tolerate it for rift challenges.

I have 1 friend to play with...luckily I dont have to suffer through survivor on my own lmao

Not really. When I play killer I can play without sweating, but it's not really relaxing, it's more intense if anything. One has to focus because you got to keep track of a lot of things.

    Very.

Playing killer is what I do when I want to chil but it's also because I don't play with the mindset that I have to be a sweat lord or kill everyone to have fun. So i just play however I want and dictate my own gaming experience

Do you mind saying what killer or killers you play, your playstyle etc? I used to play killer years ago but quit it almost completely due to a variety of reasons but one of the main reasons was because of stress.

I want to play some killer again but don't want to feel too stressed...

All of them haha. I always switch my perks up also so its always a different experience! The only killer I have a hard time with is Hillbilly, because I just suck with him for some reason. My playstyle varies :) it all comes down to how the survivors play it of course. My advice to you is to remember that in the end it is just a game and sometimes maps and certain spawns might screw you over pretty bad. It's kinda the same for survivor but with some teammates you get 😂

If it isn't a swf group yeah.. Even if you don't care and are just bp farming, SWF will make it miserable and a waste of your time.

It's not usually that relaxing, no.

If I want to relax, I play survivor.

Depends on the group but generally its pretty good fun. You can set the tone of the match and be creative with your style, play in character. When i play legion i move really fast and erratic, but michael i stalk and try to act like him. Good fun

I wouldn't say relaxing, but I get way less annoyed playing killer than I do when I play survivor. If I lose it's usually because of the mistakes I made as killer. When playing survivor, I can be the best on my team but still lose... I despise solo survivor.

I do, at least when I don't use my own brain and just chase around and tunneling without any thinking.

I wish I could relax as survivor...but I am always found first :')

Most of the time. The only time I find it stressful is when I need to pip up and I get rolled. I had a match today where I was pyramid head. A Steve dcs two seconds in. I walk up to the Nancy and meme around letting her pallet stun me. Then I go up to the two fengs and men around. I did nothing but just chilled with the survivors and one of the fengs gave me a kill

Yes, very relaxing unless the survivors know how the game works. In which case, I get mildly annoyed at the game design, but it is not so bad.

Depends on my mood I suppose, but mostly no, I often hesitate to queue up as killer.

    Yeah, playing killer is fine.

Also I can't get really mad at tbag, clickyclicky, or if they manage to pull off a 4man escape. Endgame chat can be sometimes interesting, often I reply something kind to calm them down.

I'm a killer main, I have a lot of fun, but I don't consider the game "relaxing" as in just leaning back and not really paying attention to what I'm doing or whatever. It's an action oriented competitive game, it's a little stressful but in a good way.

For comparison, No Man's Sky is one of my most played games. That's a relaxing game. I can just walk around, do whatever I want, take a sec to think about where I want to go, nothing really threatens me. Or I also play American Truck Simulator, listening to the radio and just kind of driving around. Those are relaxing games.

So no, Dead By Daylight is fun but it's not relaxing, at least to me.

It depends on my mindset. If I'm having a decent day and I'm relaxed for the most part, then yes. Win lose or draw, I'm chilling and relaxing on some killer. Other days I'm titled before I even start playing and then it becomes stressful.

Or other times, I'll be alright starting off, pretty chill, but will run into one survivor in a random match that'll just grind my gears to where I'll want to tunnel him out. Once that happens in pretty titled, so I'll take a break and come back when I'm relaxed again. It's mainly all about mindset, and is a lot like league of legends in that sense. If you're already titled, or find yourself getting there, it might be a good idea to play something else for an hour and come back. Maybe try civilization, who knows.

    Certainly moreso than solo queue.

Killer is where I go to chill when survivor gets too miserable.

I'm a killer main through and through. I honestly think survivor is boring to play. I always find killer to he fun. Sure sometimes it can be annoying if you let it be annoying. I find the best way to enjoy playing killer is to not give a s**t about winning or losing.

The nature of a game is, you win some and you lose some. Sure you might tie every now and again but at the end of the day it's just a game. Don't let it get to you.🤪

Playing killer is as relaxing as a walk in the park, while every tree is on fire.

It's a revolving door between "These hits are coming so easy." and "Don't burst a vein in your neck trying to catch that ######### Mikaela, dude."
