Pip system busted af
Playing survivor this morning with a friend.
She escapes, we both escape, she gets 28k points, two iri emblems and two gold, she did gens, cleansed two totems, had two decent chases, and two saves plus healing. No pip.
Very next game, 28k points, same emblems, did one less totem and gen, pipped.
Fast forward, I'm playing killer now. 3 kills, 11 hooks, about an 8-10 minute match, one escapes through hatch. No pips. Next match, no camping or tunneling, 10 hooks, as one went to stage 2, 3 kills and one for hatch, 8000 points in two categories and 6500 in the others, two iri emblems and two gold, no pip.
I think maybe it's bugged out? Log out, log back in, no change.
Play another match, 4k, almost max points, 3 iri emblems, no pips at endgame screen.
This is such a POS system that should not exist in DBDs current state, and it makes me want to not play completely.

Points doesnt mattter, cause pips only depend on emblems. Your story makes no sense, if its not just a visual bug. With 2 Iri and two Gold you would +1 for sure in every grade. So you cant black pip and next game +1 with those same emblems.

You're right, it doesn't make sense, that's my point. There's no reason why both games shouldn't be a pip. And we both stream so it is captured, I just gotta find both games and screen shot from the vods.

Pips can be weird. Sometimes you're just above or just below the threshold of a category.
You get a crapton of Evader points for existing near the killer - you'll usually have high scores in this emblem if you're on a two-story map, or if you just sit and hide/do a gen while someone loops nearby. This doesn't correspond to points, or doing anything useful in a match period, and I find it's the main category of discrepancy.
You also get more Lightbringer emblems if someone else is doing gens while you're looping the killer versus if no one is doing gens while you're looping the killer. Also, you lose some Benevolent if teammates are left to progress hook stages. This does include teammates suiciding on second hook, but not first (there's a grace period of 10-15 seconds.)
As for no pips... dumb question, but neither of you is maxed out, right?
I wouldn't be surprised if it was bugged. It's been bugged before. Just checking.
