So there is not Wiggle Regressing anymore?
Wow!
I left a survivor bleeding on the floor after realizing I couldn't hook him because of Boil Over.
After some time (believing that the wiggle meter would regress as always), I tried to hook him because I would have time to do so. It was in vain, he escaped the shoulders instantly.
Why this nerf? One less counterplay, why?
I can't understand, honestly!

Because anti slug, I guess?

I thought wiggle regressing was only while you're carrying the survivor and you stop wiggling.

Yep, it doesn’t regress anymore.
It’s a stupid change despite 80% of players apparently not even knowing about it.
If you drop someone because of something like what you mentioned and the survivors are too negligent to get that person up, then they shouldn’t be able to escape for free.

In what world do you think killers are slugging? With so many second chances perks it's being difficult even to down a survivor.

It used to work with downed survivors!

It’s both that and while slugged.
It just didn’t matter in most matches but when it does it can make a pretty significant difference.
If anything I’d say this encourages slugging since you can’t pick them back up if you dropping them made them close to wiggling out.
With the old system you can go back and hook eventually.

Honestly I don't believe that cause ive slugged someone for a almost 2 minutes cause their teammates kepts trying to come for a pallet save and they still wiggled out after wiggling for like 4 seconds, at that point they should have only been 25% wiggle at the most.

It was a thing, so something in your narrative is off.

Tee hee -time on wiggle for great skill checks
Tee hee also no more wiggle regression for slugs
Just BHVR things! They're so minor...besides killer kill rates arent exactly at 50.00% across the board :( we gotta reduce those kiill rates somehow

I don't think so. I specifically remember carrying someone to the hook for at least 5-6 seconds, someone sabo'd the hook i was going to, i drop her, bleed her out for like a minute and a half and eventually they both run off cause they know I'll bleed her if i really wanted to then i pick her back up and wiggles out 5 seconds later.

They get a fat chunk of wiggle if you drop them.

I know but it's only 25% so that means she would still have at least 10 seconds to wiggle off.

Yeah, it got removed for no reason

It's kinda weird as it just incourages more bleed outs.
Like if i carry a survivor and 2 survivore come bodyblock forcing me to drop the survivor why would i ever pick them back up. If they are the last survivor it just becomes a case of letting them bleed out

Agreed lol.
Like imagine a scenario where this happens in endgame, so you drop the survivor.
The others could now, in theory, run to the exit gate which let's pretend is super far away, and just open it and leave.
Now the survivor you dropped just slowly crawls halfway across the entire map and crawls out, right in front of you, and you can't do anything about it because they'll wiggle if you try to make a hook.
This change creates potential scenarios where leaving a teammate on the floor can be optimal play and doesn't have any consequence as long as you get them within four minutes. That's why I don't like it.

That is weird. It's always worked for me before maybe you had a bug.

I mean, yeah it's right at the top of the patch notes

It used to not regress, was added for no reason, now it was removed.
Horrible timing with Boil Over, but I guess better late than never.

You basically had to almost bleed them out to have the wiggle meter regress to anything substantial.

It used to also regress if you were dropped, but it would take a while for it to feel like it activated because when initially dropped you get more wiggle progress.

I am starting to reach a point of wondering if the developers even want killers to even hook survivors anymore.
Its beginning to genuinely seem like they'd only want survivors to die from slugging.

Next step for BHVR is to make slugging bannable (which many Survivors believe anyway) and the shitshow will be complete.
