they fixed a bug that they implemented with the last patch (most of the released patch was related to her bugs)... tbh that situation shouldn't be happened in the 1st place imo... in a certain sense it reminds me of the twins release: they were a giant flaming bug, yet they release that mess without fixing them 1st...

She went from 50 major bugs to 2 to (so far detected) 1. I wouldn't compare that at all to Twins

it was an example. the point is that you shouldn't release unfinished stuff or fixes if you aren't sure that this could cause other issues. i still remember that they did those things in the past to the other killers aswell... During the hillbilly and leatherface rework for example, or when they fixed the oni (if the power was fully recharged automatically he wasn't able to activate it... they fixed this issue with a little shadownerf: passive recharge of the power couldn't go to 100%, forcing you to seach and absorbing at least a blood orb before having your power at disposal)

Oni's power was never meant to passively reach 100% and it doing so is what caused the issue.

It's the second time, 5.5.1 dropped on a wednesday as well
And god I hope they keep it that way because having the new patch and Steam maintenance on the same day sucks, especially if they release something interesting that you want to try out

It's genuinely screwing with my head I'm so used to Tuesdays patches that any prior patch that isn't on a Tuesday gets immediately erased from my mind.

You don't want to just use the cage every time, it's better to wait until second hook or save it for an execution, especially if the team is avoiding. Going for cages that much takes away your strategic choices.

"Ok fair enough, this whole argument is just silly, I don't care how you play him, I just thought you didn't enjoy playing him."

And people say that the Devs don't listen.
Now if only you're cosmetics department finally comes out with a bush cosmetic......😅

if that was the case then why in the beginning both in ptb and when he went live his power worked in that way? i honestly doubt that this wasn't intended... they modified the oni to the current state cause they weren't able to fix that bug that they added with one of their famous patches (or because it was the quickest way to deal with that issue)... talking about patches that broke the killer's power... how curious that they had disabled the nurse, isn't it (i was stucked too in the grab animation during a match right after the patch that "fixed" the nurse)? as i said, if they aren't sure about their patch fixes, they shouldn't even release them imo. as far as i know they are the ONLY company that implement new bugs after every patch released (at least regarding major/gamebreaking bugs)

"as far as i know they are the ONLY company that implement new bugs after every patch released"
Oh absolutely not
Klab with "Bleach Brave Souls" are very good at breaking things with each new update.
Hi-Rez/EvilMojo with both "Paladins" and "Smite".
Probably more I could think of if I didn't wake up 3 minutes ago

You forgot to quote the last part of the phrase...

Regarding major/gamebreaking bugs? Oh, so this one nifty bug in Paladins which specifically affects anyone in Europe, or North America when playing with friends, that will consistently lock them out of playing the game for upwards of 30 minutes and force them to be forever stuck in a loading screen isn't gamebreaking? Or, for more Paladins examples, that time Azaan would have his flight distance magnified to 300% randomly and cause him to fling out of the map for no reason, or the bug which caused all sounds to just be muted until you restarted your system, which wouldn't even fix it?
No, BHVR are absolutely not alone with introducing gamebreaking issues every other patch.
