Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

@Devs Now That We Have a Global Player Level, Maybe Integrate That Into Your Matchmaking?

Since 2.0.0, the players probably have a good representation of playtime via their Player Level, so why not integrate it into matchmaking to pair people of similar experience together, instead of only rank?

It's so vast that players at the extremes (who just started and who are at very high level) will find no matches. They're coming up with a new matchmaking system soon. Let's wait and see how it works.

Well, my point is the matchmaking needs to consider other things than just rank. It needs to pair people of similar skill and playtime, so maybe if DBD considered kills/escape average and player level/hours played along with rank, then it would be a moderately good matchmaking system.

    Playtime doesn't equate to skill.
It should be based on performance across ranks.

Playtime basically does equate to skill. The only way to get better at something is to practice it.

Lol, if you practice it right... Practicing something wrong across time just makes you better at being bad.

I have friends that have played for ages that still cannot turn their mouse around to look behind them, and can't loop at all.
