Should Victor be able to do more?

It’s tough in the endgame for the twins. Victor can really only wait by an exit to let you know if a survivor is by it. Yes he can down survivors but they usually have time to crawl away or escape before they can be picked up with Charlotte. Should Victor be able to hold downed dying survivors in place for a bit? or at least slow their crawling speed way down while making himself vulnerable to being crushed. Maybe it could work like a bear trap where a survivor can struggle to free themselves, that or victor can only maintain his grip for a short time. Or how about should Victor be able to shut hatch? Or snuff boon totems?

Victor should be nerfed. It is impossible to play against twins if killer has high ping. No need to make it even worse.

Just FYI Haddonfield is currently disabled for the foreseeable future per Mandy and its listed on the kill switch list as undergoing a ravamp. So who knows what it will look like when it comes back? 🤷‍♂️

Thank you, I'm aware, let's hope that at least there will be doorways next to every window. (and if that is the case, I'm 100% sure that they would be filled with breakable walls)

Most maps have maybe two to four breakable walls, Dead Dawg has a bunch, and Midwich has I think six? Breakable walls never really struck me as being all over the place honestly. I usually just go to the main building right at the start of the match and break the walls quickly to get them out of the way.

"Victor can really only wait by an exit gate"

You say this as if this isn't of any significance or consequence: "yeah victor just kinda stands there..."

As far as playing Survivor goes, this has to be one of the most annoying things about the twins, and arguably makes their endgame (after the generators are done) stronger than other killers who just can't exert that kind of pressure, IE: Freddy who gets immensely weaker once all the generators have been completed because he loses his teleport completely. So long as you've got survivors injured already, Victor gives you a fighting chance in 3 v 1's, makes you deadly in 2 v 1's, and basically spells out death for the last survivor alive in a 1 v 1. (If you're trying to salvage the match in the endgame in a 4 v 1, unless you've got 8 hooks or are running an endgame build, you kinda already lost by that point).

The latter being particularly annoying. I understand that the twins are probably the farthest from being in a good spot right now, their pick rate is abysmal for plenty of reasons, but you can't tell me leaving Victor by a door to be a Siren while you cover the other door isn't absolute cheese. And I mean no more and no less than exactly what I've said, I'm not saying players shouldn't do it because that's all the Twins have, but I am saying it's annoying and definitely feels like one sided gameplay.

In all honesty I don't know what should be done with the Twins, clearly they need some love, but equally Survivor frustrations are very much tangible in regards to them. The Twins are kind of a balance nightmare I think.

Even if I really hate Twins, I thought about that a long time ago as well. Haddonfield can basically kill Victor since the balconies are very safe against him.

So window-vaulting should be considered. (But I dont think it is really something urgent, so if the Devs dont change anything, Victor will still be alright9

Victor should be able to drag survivors to hooks. The fact that he can't do that makes Twins obligatory sluggers. On the past, when the Devs were discussing the possibility of Chucky on DBD they said that he could very well drag the survivors to hooks so I don't see why not do the same for Victor.

    Victor should:

    • Be able to snuff boon totems
    • Have the hit 'cooldown' reverted back to 3 seconds (i think it was)
    • Die automatically if idle in the radius of a hooked survivor (like how you cannot get victor out in a certain radius)
    • Not be able to be kicked when deadhard validated

    And probably some other improvements

    NO!!

Victor already has WAY TOO MUCH going for him. He is borderline unfair.

Twins is a SNORE - because Big Sis is a lumbering oaf with nothing interesting.

Victor is interesting, but unreliable. You're spending less than half of your time with him if playing properly.

Giving him a lot more to do will make playing Twins a lot more fun and interesting, while also making them a lot more dynamic to play against as Survivor.

    ?

    Way too much?

He hits you and goes on lockers. What is he doing that's 'Too much' ?

    • Lightning speed
    • No TR
    • No red stain
    • Holds you hostage in lockers
    • Can jump right over dropped pallets and through windows
    • 6 second cooldown
    • Built-in bloodhound

I think he should be able to regress a gen but it takes a few seconds longer and he dies. (unable to proc perks like overcharge or pop goes)

So yes, you are mad because he can hit you and check lockers.

But don't forget the best ones:

    • Can't hit you on a tight loop (Tree, car, aggressive rock)
    • Can be held hostage for most of the match for virtually no punishment
    • No scratch marks
    • Can be insta-killed on a miss or hit.
    • Cannot interact with the environment

    Brilliant.

I think he could disable boom totems, and break barricades, and I approve of the idea of some who think he might have clothes of his own.

100% agree on snuffing boons! Maybe have him be able to kick gennys but the progress isn't as fast since he's tiny

I think Twins would be more viable if throwing Viktor off you was actually needed. He should completely deny all actions besides running. Whenever I get the pleasure of having Viktor on my back, i just kidnap him, cuz Charlotte will never catch up to me, and the person playing the killer can either lose entire game just by trying to retrieve him, or they can become a M1 powerless killer.

Or just make it so you can manually take Viktor off someone so you don't lose him to a kidnapper.

I stopped even counting the amount of times i took him with me through the hatch, he feels so useless now, that's why Twins are such a rare sight now.
