Why do we lose our offerings when the killer did before the match even starts

I've lost to bloody party streamers because the killers just decide to dc before the match even starts. I don't think we should lose our offerings if the killer disconnects.

    You're hanging by the camp fire, the survivors throw it in the fire and so does the killer. It's initiating the Trial. It fits, but I do agree! We shouldn't lose our Offerings due to a Killer DC.
