After 6 solo survivor games tonight,
I only have 1/6 for the 2nd challenge of level 3 which requires you to survive while others escape the trial.
I've had survivors hook suicide on their first hook within the first minute of the match starting, other survivors who DC early on, paired up with obviously inexperienced survivors against an experienced killer, or the gens never get finished. Out of the 6 games, I only had one game where all the gens were completed and even then, I barely got one because other survivors refused to leave.
I really dislike survivor challenges like this because no matter how good I play, my progress to complete the challenge depends on other survivor's actions during the match.

That sucks. Some challenges you have to just keep playing and forget about them. Eventually you will get it and then be able to move on to the next challenge. You have plenty of time before this Tome ends, so don’t let challenges like these stress you out.

I think we should be able to equip various challenges at the same time.
More often then not, I get survivors that escape before me, when I have a heal challenge active and a match against Legion, when I have a "stay within 10 meters of the killer" challenge.

Yeah, but I need the challenges done by March 8th for Sadako p3 day 1, and Elden Ring launches tomorrow, so you know, stress is inevitable. These survivor ones kill me. The Hillbilly one was such an ez clap and now I need freaking 240 seconds of co op time and 12 generators. Do you know how many games that will take, fam? The 4 red glyphs, even if I Wraith to find it and afk to move on as fast as possible that is another 4 games on top of the 4 games I needed to do the same strategy to chase 16 different survivors.
It all adds up... It feels never ending.

I was doing an escape via hatch as the last survivor challenge a while back (back when the hatch spawned at the end regardless of how many players were alive) and it was so difficult. I was looping the demo puppy literally around the hatch waiting for the Leon to leave and my friend (who was spectating) was telling me that he was literally just sat in the exit gates. Not even trying to run out and find me to make sure I was out safe but literally just stood there. The egc timer was literally in its final 10 second countdown before he eventually left and the demo downed me on top of the hatch as it popped open. I narrowly got the challenge done but I was so beyond annoyed at how close I was to losing it over one guy who was that desperate to teabag.
if you don’t plan on doing anything useful to help other survivors in the match please just leave.

I'm of the opinion that Rift challenges have really hurt the quality of solo queue matches. You often get four survivors who are just trying to get some random task done that has little to do with helping win the game. It's one of the worst additions to the game for me

I get you. I don't like these challenges either because it requires your team to walk out the gate before you. We all know how that works (survivors don't ######### leave).
I played one game last night and switched to Gears and never returned. I tried disarming a trap at shack pallet and console binding sucked me into a pallet drop getting me caught and hauled to basement. Only 1 tried to save me and it was console Jill and same thing happened to her. Dead with 863 BP.

It legitimately belongs to feedback section.

Ehm unrelated to the topic (and maybe some sarcasm here flies over my head) but why is there any necessity for a new killer to be P3 on day1?
Is there some hidden achievement or just idiocity?

They're called challenges for a reason, in case this wasn't obvious. Play the game as you normally would, and be the last person out the gate. Considering how simple this is in theory, I'm surprised it's on the same page as As Hilbilly, hit 7 survivors with your chainsaw in a single trial.

I agree with this

Try to save the ######### challenges for last. That's the only way. Do a couple killer challenges if you need to get around it.
I love that the tome exists and it gives me something to work toward but some of the challenges are so mind boggling

Yeah except it's not really challenging your skills or anything. One trial the other 3 survivors were a swf and literally blocked the exit gate to try to kill me because I wouldn't leave before them.
