Vigo's Shroud
Does this thing even work? Literally every time I've used it I won't have even moved and the killer is on me within the first 20 seconds and then proceeds to chase me for 4 generators thus wasting my time and keeping me from getting a lot of BP AND throwing the match. The saddest part is 90% of the time they won't even get so much as a down. All for one person

It used to work better a few years ago, but now most killers are trained to go across to the other side of the map since survivors spawn as far away from you as possible.
What this means is that Vigos puts you where you'd normally be anyway and the killer is going to beeline across the map like he normally does. Oddly enough what I've found works best is going to the center of the map to avoid the killer since most of the time they'll be searching the corners.

That makes sense yeah. Though I did have one strange game where the killer went straight to me. I thought he might've had lethal pursuer but he didn't. Two seconds after the game loaded in I heard the terror radius. I thought he was downstairs since it was Midwich but no. He was on me within the first 4 seconds. Maybe I just have terrible spawn luck

I usually flip the map and run to the killers spawn and do gens there since hell either start chasing near spawn or that's 2 gens going where the other can't be pressured

It works, but very little. Killer's go across the map to find survivors and Vigo's Shroud spawns you there anyway.
