Vanity or scratch mirror? Which is best and why?
I'm honestly finding it hard to decide, but I think I'm leaning to scratch mirror still even after the rework awhile back

Scratched Mirror.

There's a place for both of them if you build around them- without perks and complimentary addons to support them, both are pretty objectively just a downgrade from Myers' base power, but assuming you're going for a full build...
I think Vanity Mirror is more versatile, reliable stealth without Undetectable and the ability to proc any 'basic attack' perk combined with wallhacks is generally pretty good, but Scratched Mirror has a higher potential if you're on the right map alongside having the right build.

Well that's why I'm finding it hard, like do you want complete stealth with a big aura reading range but need perks to help for speed etc. Or less stealth and aura reading but dont need the speed to help you for hits

Overall I'd probably say that Vanity Mirror is stronger, it's just more useful in a wider variety of scenarios. Scratched Mirror has a lot of potential but it requires much more to go in your favour to properly unlock it.

Scratched Mirror because it's more boring for survivors to go against.

They're both a lot of fun, but vanity mirror is the stronger of the two because you don't have that decrease in movement speed or shorter lunge. If you use dead rabbit with Monitor its fantastic.
3 -
Vanity Mirror because at least you can chase normally while using it
You cannot run any tile as a scratched mirror mikey without pywf. 90% of tiles become infinites because he doesn't gain bloodlust in T1.

Do you know the exact terror radius size with it? Like if you combo it all together? Iv never used the dead rabbit and I haven't been on for awhile due to being sick so my memory is a little "bad" lol

16m - 8 from M&A = 8 Meters
Dead Rabbit & M&A = 25% of 8 m = 6M in total
Dead Rabbit only = 25% of 16m = 12M in total

Only 2 metres, hmm I would of thought 4 but I guess it's how they code which goes first. Wonder if faster movement stalking etc. Is better

Well if you're running Vanity Mirror there's not exactly a reason to not run dead rabbit with it, since you don't have to worry about the TR increase part of it
Either stalk movement speed or a stalk rate addon to get out of T1 faster would probably be fine choices as well

Vanity mirror still kinda sucks imo. Sure it's more versatile, but if I have a good map offering I'm taking scratched mirror every time. 16 meters just doesn't feel like anything to me and as long as you have the stuff to build around scratched mirror, the trex lunge is manageable and you get way more jumpscares.

Both Scratch Mirror and Vanity Mirror Meyers work, I've gotten 4 kills with both of them. The main difference is the Scratch Mirror has better stealth and a larger aura range but the movement speed in Evil 1 is only 105% survivor speed so, while you can feasibly catch up to a survivor who is running away from you, it will take longer than normal and be more likely to have the survivor being able to get to a pallet for safety. So you really have to be relying on the stealth and auras for ambushes to hit survivors before things get to the stage of a footchase.
But in contrast, Vanity Mirror Meyers is moving the normal 115% survivor speed so he can loop and chase the same as any basic attack killer. He's not Undetectable so he does have the red stain which makes him easier to spot, but he's still fairly stealthy because of his reduced terror radius, especially if you run it with Monitor and Abuse and the Dead Rabbit, which is often enough to get him in close enough to start a chase from a better position than a standard basic attack killer with no stealth might be able to do. Then during the chase his 16 meter aura reading make mindgaming and juking him much more difficult, as well as trying to hide from him to avoid a chase. So even though his aura reading range is half that of Scratch Mirror, it's still very useful.
