NOED meta?
Mostly all of my survivor matches today have been bubbas, or if it’s not a bubba the killer has NOED. Is this trending at the moment or am I unlucky?

Maybe unlucky. As much as I hate Noed I don't see it that much.
Bubbas though on the other hand I run into all the time.

Different MMR ranks have different metas. For example, Spinechill is meta at low survivor MMR but not meta at high survivor MMR. NOED has an interesting relationship with relation to skill. It's generally a low MMR perk, but then if you get to a high enough MMR it then becomes meta again.

Spine Chill good, Noed bad.

Also keep in mind NOED is a universal perk, all players have access to it in their bloodwebs. That also can help boost how often it appears.

When CoH was introduced, there was a big spike in NOED (since so many people ran CoH, many survivors completely blew off ever breaking totems).
That feels like it has cooled down as of late so I'm thinking you were just unlucky. I haven't noticed NOED more often than usual (which is once every five or sixish games give or take).

Noed is a meta perk

I saw a 21% NOED rate in my 300 games.

Stop complaining about NOED and start using Soul Guard, the most NOED-Killers are greedy and start slugging most of the time so you should be fine with it

Is a challenge that requires downs well exposed and "make your choice" so people been stacking exposed to get the 3 downs.

6 out of 7 matches today, have been against Huntress. NOED was only used once. So i´d say you´re simply unlucky.

There was a ~85% NOED rate on Bubba.

I've always wondered why use Noed when some killers literally have it basekit.
Maybe just lazy.

An M1 is far easier to land than a Chainsaw, even if the Survivors are way better than you.
Plus, it confirms a 2K+ for Bubba.

The small bump in speed is nice too

In Eastern Europe server noed Is totally meta

Funny you should say this. I ran soul guard for the first time in ages for a few games yesterday. Played against a huntress who had noed. She slugged the first guy, so as I went to look for the totem she downed me as well and immediately picked me up. Doh!
Oh well. Not hating noed or saying you're wrong about soul guard. Just thought it was funny.

No I think its just bait.

I've faced the same problem once or twice haha, but when i started using "Tenacity" it seems to calm down the killers that I'm crawling instead of recovering. Of course, it doesn't work for all killers, but it increases the chances.

NOED is an awful perk. You may get one hook if you are lucky, before the Hex is cleansed.

I have definitely been encountering it more recently.

It's a good counter to COH. Exposure perks are probably all more popular right now.

Sorry to break it to you, that's 63, lol

Unlucky or MMR/Matchmaking with low skill or new killers.
NoED is only good against less than good survivors, so its not meta. Very unfun to go against, but not meta.

I got like 3 answers
1) just super unlucky
2) possible MMR problems
3) A lot of killer players right now think the only way to win is NOED and that the game is survivor sided, despite noed only really working against survivors you could've beaten perkless.
anyways if noed is a problem, despite people that will say "do bones" just play normally and if noed becomes active just find the totem or leave
