maybe kepler was a name for the chapter during development? silent hill content is referred to as "Wales" in the game files so maybe they forgot to change the descriptions before release

oh so it's just a name in the files.
like NOES is known as "england" and silent hill is known as "wales" and binding of kin is known as "aurora" iirc

when I hovered over Sadako and Yoichi before buying them. it went away as soon as I got the DLC from the store now it says nothing under their bios

It was - Retired about a decade ago by NASA.

Kepler was an astronomer, physician and mathematician. But yes, the telescope is named after this person.
