Hey Doctor mains does Mercilous storm make impossible skill check
Builds good again I havent touched him for almost a year but i just unlocked it on my Onryo and was curious if impossible skill check doctor could make a comeback. Hopefully it wont take too long to show up on my doctor just curious if its been tried already. Thanks in advance

Huntress Lullaby doesn't affect the skill checks from merciless storm, As Tested in one of Pebsie's latest Dbd Myths videos on YT, so It's highly unlikely that Unnerving Presence will affect it either, and Doctors madness probably doesn't change the direction the dial turns. Same goes for Toolbox add-on's and perks on survivors, Honestly though, it might be worth just getting together with a friend and testing things to see if there's any change.

It's because the devs have been explicitly listing what kind of skill checks perk like Huntress Lullaby and Unnerving Presence effect and skill checks from perks do not count as healing or gen skill checks. Which is kinda sad because things like the Freddy addons that increase penalties from failed skill checks do not work with oppression or overcharge which can usually catch survivors off guard once in a match so it removes minor synergy that could be fun to play around with.
That said I do not know if Doctor is updated to only work on default skill checks like every other perk. But I doubt it does.

That's not correct that Unnerving Presence doesn't affect checks from perks, it definitely reduces the size of the Overcharge check. It doesn't affect checks that aren't part of healing or repair actions though (e.g. Decisive Strike).

I just tested with a friend, and YES, Merciless Storm + Unnerving Presence 100% works with Doctor. The skill checks were smaller, can go in reverse and can even change positions on the screen after every successive skill check. You will absolutely see this perk in skill check doctor builds.

I'm assuming it'd be something like Unnerving/Merciless/Distressing/Lullaby w/ 2x "Calm" Add-ons. Can probably replace Distressing for, say, Undying or Overcharge or Oppression or something of the like.

Hmmm with Merciless Storm and buffed Dead Man's Switch, use a Midwich offering with the increased static blast add ons and you can get pretty nasty with Doc.

That's awesome, I play a doctor from hell build, distressing, unnerving, overcharge and sloppy combined with fake pallets and fake red stains.
I wonder if I should drop for the merciless storm, I leave distressing on because it increases the range of static blast so you can stand on the bottom floor at midwich inside the chains in the middle and hit basically 90% of the map.

Yeah it's ridiculous on midwich especially if you run the Calm addons to increase your terror radius for static blast. Merciless storm/unnerving/distressing/overcharge would be great on that map.

I dunno the sloppy adds more time to the survivors doing nothing on top of madness as well.
Especially if they need to cleanse madness then spend more time healing afterwords.
