This. The kill rate for i think all killers is still above that 50% mark, so killers are fine. Its as simple as that.
Either they wont take the effort or dont have the recources to manage the game properly.

Decisive was just fixing an egregious situation of 60 second invulnerability. If you think CoH was a nerf then I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you - it made no functional difference whatsoever.

Keys and hatches were done a year after Mori changes. Yes it was needed, but Mori was a ghost nerf it just appeared.
Where as Keys were given plenty of time and notice, to use them.
Now You've got CoH, an endless free heal. If i could re apply my ruin endlessly the complaints would be endless.

Keys and hatches were definitely more complex than the one number tweak of Moris, so more time more planning/design and actual testing is logical.
CoH I agree with, they did give a small speed nerf however and stated it will be monitored further.
also I have stated in my very first post that I think they are way too slow with almost anything…

They aren't, not really. They are just slow.
If you look at the change history, they have made some good ones.
They've also got some critical fails like the boons, assuming they were meant to give the survivors something else to do than sit on gens.

I miss read your previous post. I thought you said killer "still" has OP stuff.
Long ago we did have broken things I do not miss. 5 blink nurse, insta saw billy, machine gun hatchet huntress, legion with double mending add ons. When people found that legion exploit bhvr started banning people caught using that. Survivor never gets punished using stuff that is considered exploitable. Like the wake up bug.

I lost all faith in the management of this game when the director told a person who asked a question about killers to "go play civilization"
That speaks volumes. Rather than sugar coating any answer, even a lie they tell you to go spend your money elsewhere.

Regarding Legiom banning: they haven’t done that again right? And have introduced the killswitch feature for that.
also, there is still powerful stuff on killers side (Blight with certain build, Nurse, Spirit with certain build)
and yeah I agree the game is still survivor sided when looking at high skill /experienced players. I am not denying that.

you know what? That’s why I kinda respect that response. I don’t want a lie or sugar coating. I want them to be honest and transparent. But many people are making this very hard for them.
And tbf, the devs are acting the same way towards those complaining about tunneling/camping/NoeD/etc. They just didn’t directly tell them to play something else.

That's the big gameplay problem.
If they make gens take longer, a hard camping / tunneling killer will get more than the maximum of two kills he should get against an experienced team that wants to escape.
Then you have players that just want some fun, some BPs, some emblem points. These killer players will not be affected by changes to camping / tunneling. But the gameplay loop is also not going to improve for them. They will still get maybe three to four hooks by the time all gens are done.
So changes to gen times and camping need to come together... my hopes are low... very low.

Given their track record. The devs usually dont rework 2 different things at the same time. They usually do one, the game is broken for 6 months, then they do the other.

You don't have to. When MMR works it ends up matching you at a level where you can get 4Ks on some games without camping or tunneling. You can't expect 4Ks on every game but you will get a healthy amount.
The design flaw is that requires that the killer player be willing to accept that they will lose games they could have won otherwise in a PvP game and also accept that toxic teabaggers will leave the exit gates when they could have been killed otherwise. Many can't accept that and they shouldn't have to accept that in a PvP game.
I say change the balance. Nerf camping. Nerf gen speeds. Free the Nerfs! Both have to be nerfed at the same time though.

If the gens take longer a camper that's tunneling is guaranteed to get a 4K with no problem a camping/tunneling killer can get a 2K know with no problem.
So yeah I agree the changes would have to come together but, it's something that's not going to happen and if it does it will most like be when there's a game that's giving DBD competition.

I agree. Killers are not going to get serious buffs because they can first-hook: face-camp and tunnel-off-hook-till dead to get easier kills. And there are killer players using these tactics because they aren't good enough to play any other way and have shoe-horned themselves into using these tactics because if they try anything else, they get 4 man escapes. The slightly-above 50% kill ratio killers are currently getting is showing the developers that there is no need for killer buffs.

There's definitely a reason I said when. If lower than 20% of the queued players are queued as killers, the MMR system goes more and more out of whack as it starts prioritizing queue times. During prime times, MMR seems to be working for me on the killers I play the most. The lower the number of killers queued below 1 in 5, though, the more out of whack the MMR, thus, more killers stop, MMR gets more out of whack, etc
Not camping and tunneling for better games also won't work for a long time if killers have been camping and tunneling since that has inflated the killer's MMR beyond what they could get through chasing and the killer will need a string of losses to lower their MMR until they can have enjoyable games again.
Player frustration, though, is not a good way to incentivize players in any game. So, my opinion is, as I stated above, Free the Nerfs! Nerf camping and nerf gen speeds at the same time. You can't nerf one without nerfing the other without completely shafting either killers or survivors.

This is exactly what needs to happen but too many killer players would see this as a killer-only nerf and threaten a boycott.
And to be honest, the BHVR devs are frightened of killer-players quiting.

Why do people compare the wake up bug to the legion one?
The legion one caused mending to last 20+ minutes, where as Wake up just made matches end faster but was still entirely beatable.

Wake up sped up everything
Gens, healing, vaulting, unhooking. And not by a miniscule amount either. A noticeable difference. Window vaults could be looped for even longer with this bug. Gens were done solo in like 20 secs. This was no beatable at all. This was broken. How would you feel if there was a bug that made killer run faster, downed you in one hit, his power recharged in 2 secs and could mori you at the start of a match? If you cant see how much of a problem this is, your either bias or a troll.
The reason im comparing the 2 bugs is they happened roughly at the same time. Both bugs ruined the game. Killers got banned for using it yet nothing happened to survivors using wake up..........favoritism?

Then why was All the survivor perks nerfed if it’s there cash cow. They nerfed Mettle of man in 3 months, Boil over, Decisive strike, OoO, Exhaustion, Keys, Hatch, Insta heals, I can keep going!
here’s the Ironic part Ash Williams and Laurie cost real money so the fact they nerfed the best perks on there dlc characters show it’s not a money thing.
also cosmetics are completely different from game design there not changing ######### cause of sales and cosmetics there 2 completely different teams?!!! How many times do I have to say this

Clown had a bug with his pinky finger bottle that would give exposed to people that touched the gas, he also had a speed glitch where spamming reload would cause him to be faster than billy, you're free to look through my post history to see if I wanted killers banned for using those (hint, I didn't).
There have absolutely been bugs that are awful, but infinite mending was taking the game hostage, you could absolutely win against Wake Up abusers, and even then, you weren't stuck in a match for 30+ minutes to mend.

A perk that caused matches to end in 2 mins is not winnable. Unless those survivors were jerking around and got themselves killed.

lmao just read your edit to the comment you posted "Gens were done in 20 seconds solo". Bro? Wake up was a 15% speed increase, it did not make gens get completed in 20 seconds, you are entirely over exaggerating this.
It would have taken 12 seconds off the gen, not even close to being "done in 20 seconds by solos".

While running a plethora of other perks and a toolbox (before they were changed) are you always this intentionally manipulative?
Dude literally went into private with Left Behind and had the other three dead so his repair speed was 75% faster, I actually can't believe you would try and pass off this lie like it has anything to do with Wake Up.
