Flashlights need a buff
I think its unfair that killers can turn when they pick up. I think Killers should only be able to pick a survivor up pointing towards then head of the survivor so we can have a better chance at flashlight saves!

Also remove the timing requirement for flashlight and pallet saves and make so the killer can be blinded even when looking at a wall. And remove lightborn too.

I agree. Flashlights are most useless items in the game just making people fail at stupid plays instead of doing gens.
Medkits and toolboxes are the real power.

I guess behaviour doesnt want this game to make fun anymore since interactions with killers and other survivors are not rewarding at all.
Since BHVR keeps bringing out oppressive low mobility killers best way is to spread out and sit on gens.

Agreed plus with practice flashlight saves are so easy to do. I think I practiced for like 10 minutes and I can hit them pretty constantly

So... once a killer picks up a survivor, his head is locked in place, so he's not allowed to look for a hook, he can only go to the hook on the other side of the map because that's the only one he sees?

Entirely depends.
If you get a flashlight save and the following chase goes on to win you the game, yes.
If you cannot get a save and waste 50 seconds+ every chase just waiting for the save only to go down because the killer knows you're there and has a brain, no. In fact you've probably thrown the game.

Flashlights are balanced. If you time it right it cannot be dodged and killers have a perk to counter this in lightborn which most killers wont take unless they see multiple flashlights in a lobby.
In addition flashlight saves aren't supposed to be a common or easy thing. It's a gamble just like saboing a hook. Chases can take a long time for the killer when they win them they generally should be able to get a hook out of it.

Is dbd like people's first time playing an actual video game? Are flashlight saves really that hard to get it for other people? For anyone who has literally played a video game before, timings shouldn't be a problem for people, and it isn't for me. I feel like sometimes people whine about the most easiest #########. What next, are we gonna complain that we need to press the spacebar button on a certain spot near a pallet, and how it's too "hard".
If you don't know how, just watch those generic survivor youtubers and usually they always bring a flashlight. That's one way to learn.

flashlights are fine the do exactly what they are suppose to and actually takes skill to use. they don't need to be skilless and do 20 other things to have value.

Absolutely not. Flashlights take practice to get good at them. Also, killers CANNOT turn when picking up, they are animation locked. You have to time it so that when the blind takes affect, it's the exact moment the killer is no longer animation locked. Flashlights are extremely powerful tools that I use almost every game. At this point, they are a necessity in solo q so I can keep the potato survivors from dying super early in the game. Also, chain blinding is borderline nonsense lol. I've blinded killers up to 8 times in a row using double lenses. Go do a kyf with your buddies and just practice flashlight save timing. You can do all kinds of stuff to save your teammates with flashlights. CJ techs being one of the harder methods but it feels great pulling it off. You not only waste the killers time, but can set free a downed survivor without having to heal them.

Flashlights are used for making annoying clicking sounds, blinding a killer is a bonus.

The flashlight is one of those gameplay elements that doesn't do much for regular play but takes a starring role in bully squads. It's honestly a prime candidate for removal.
