Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Hysteria is so poorly designed

This perk is so useless in its current state, you don't get any benefit from using it.

"After injuring a healthy survivor, all injured survivors suffer from the oblivious status effect".

So that means you need to drop a chase after injuring a healthy survivor to try and catch someone who is distracted but there's no reason to do that, even if you manage to catch someone, all the trouble of having to give up the chase and try to find another survivor, you could have easily taken down the survivor you were chasing anyway and even if you commit the chase, you won't have time to use this perk anymore because the time is too short (30s).

This perk also has no effect on killers like Legion and Plague. They are killers who manage to leave survivors injured at all times, you will hardly find someone healthy.

What you write here is in the early game, you know you have like 99% of the game atleast 1 injured survivor if you are playing atleast decent with any Killer.

Idk how you play Killer but I have often situations where I injure a survivor while I have others already injured.

I like this perk but obviously since survivors are still tryharding for their lives with full meta perks you dont have much room to use this perk, but the perk itsself is fine, maybe increase the time to 45 sec atleast but besides that its fine.

I agree it is kind've a meme perk in today's meta

Maybe a decent buff would be to removing any health state from a survivor to trigger it. So it would also activate after a down.

Something I never thought about until now: how does hysteria work with plagues power or for example trappers traps? Does puking on multiple people and waiting for them to become injured work? Because it doesn't seem to have the M1 requirement

I think that this perk was being worked on before Boon's became a thing

Which is true as RE came out before Mikayla (or however you spell her name)

It’s a nearly worthless perk in the COH meta.

Yes if someone becomes injured because they got sick the perk activates. There’s no m1 requirement.

Instead it should activate on any survivor after a survivor becomes injured

Hysteria is great on Plague. Especially with her wallhacks addon. You splash the tiniest bit of puke on someone and can leave, then 25-30 seconds later they are oblivious and you get your wallhacks on them.

If they stay injured against Plague, that's a big win either way. Also you can 100% force cleanses by camping if they try that. They can't save while injured.

It's also great on engineers fang pinhead, who can injure people from ridiculously far away and through walls.

Beyond those two? Ehhh. Might as well use Hex:Plaything.

Most of the perks are crapola these days, for both "sides"

Hence why meta is used unless you cant be bothered and just want to do a challenge a daily or die alot.

As a Huntress main i really only have 1 free slot i can play with anyway and that slot is normally only 3 different perks.
