Circle of healing haters thread
This post is for circle of healing haters to express their feelings about the dead by daylight perk "Circle of healing".
To that one dev on the team I will gift you 10 subs in your twitch channel if you gut circle of healing like you gutted slinger.

I don't hate it but it is not healthy for game.
CoH should nerf. Or they should rework all boons. Make boons destroyable but more stronger. High risk and high reward. But if they are infinite, they should not be that strong.

Mclean actually didn't nerf slinger, it was someone else. Mclean did the spirit and billy changes (If I remember correctly).
You can put 2 and 2 together and know who that someone else is.

The healing speed isn't a problem hell they could bump it up to 95% again it's the ability to keep re-using it over and over.
Add a limit to how many times it can be used, maybe add like a 5 min cooldown on each time you get healed using it (like broken) or allow the killer to destroy the totem.
CoH is like an extra perk for 3 other survivors for the price of one survivor sacrificing one perk for it which is a bargain.

Judging by the number of posts you have here, you seem immune to basic use of words and language.
There is a distinct reason why the DbD community is viewed as toxic. For some, there is clearly no filter any more.
In no circumstance should a post be allowed which uses the "hate" or "hatred" terminology. If you dislike something, fair game.
In simple terms, grow the ######### up.

Dead hard is worse in my opinion. I actually like circle of healing I just think it needs a cool down after snuff. 2-3 minutes. I don’t hate them as much when I play killer but they do make it harder

Note the word intense then go do a little bit of research on hate & how it has shaped communities & discrimination in society. You may find that your use of the term is a fair bit insensitive in comparison to the potential privileged outlook you're seemingly displaying.

It doesn't necessarily need to be implied against a group or person. What is insensitive is the free and nonchalant use of the word in their language to dramatise their experience with a game.

If you're going to make public statements then at least have some sensitivity & accountability to the language you use.

CoH ruins the game in many ways. One is that only 1 person has to bring the perk for all 4 to basically have medkits. Before, you'd have to bring a medkit if you wanted to heal yourself reliably. Now, you can do that without sacrificing an item slot as long as your teammate has CoH. So now instead of bringing medkits for healing, they can bring 1 CoH and go full toolbox squad, or flashlights. Even solos can do this, although it introduces the TF2 medic problem, where you have to hope someone brings CoH so you don't have to, or if you bring it hope that not everyone has it. With CoH, M1 killers can't win. Without it, M1 killers have a slight chance of winning. You can hit people over and over again, but CoH lets them all heal up quick and you lose all of the pressure you were generating.

I would very happily take CoH's old healing speed, if once I snuffed out a totem, that totem could not be reused for a boon. That way my games wouldn't feel like a movie titled 'Trapper and the Planet Of A Million Boons.'

As long as the general boon system works the way it does it’s impossible to balance COH properly without it being either overpowered or bad. No in between really.
Like, if you remove the healing speed boost entirely (meaning it’s now self care speed), well then sure it would still have no real counterplay from the killer but it wouldn’t matter because nobody would use it.

With the amount of medkits and healing perks that float around these days I find it extremely annoying to deal with. Even if you know where it is and snuff it out you still gotta deal with them just relighting it back up again, then there's the whole debate if it's even worth traveling to the dead corner of the map where the boon is just to snuff it out and waste time. I even did a game of Sadako yesterday with sloppy butcher, all I did was just smack people and leave the chase. I stretched out the game for 30 minutes alone just because people would go back to the boon every single goddamn time I touched them.

Tbh I don't even "feel" those perks working, but surely people healed up extremely fast and gens fly while on it.

I am done with DbD because of that perk. Playing killer already felt like ######### but this is a nail in the coffin. I literally see it in my every match. I am malding over Dead Hard which is at least somehow counterable but this is x10 worse. Not only it gives so much advantage and simply unfair but it also encourages survivors to take anti-totem perks so your hex totems (ironically the strongest perks for killer) will be gone in the first minute of the match if you're lucky. Make killers rekindle their hexes too then?
No but seriously name at least one strong killer perk? Old ruin? Old Undying? People cry over noed sometimes but that perk is so not reliable and in the worst case scenario will secure you one kill.
Playing as a killer in DbD is not worth your time and mental health. Have some self respect and stop. Make survivors queues 30 minutes long. All hatred towards the balance of this game is totally justified.

This perk make half of the killer cast literally unplayable. That and especially dead hard are making most of killers mains quit. Game already swf side, gens flys without corrupt, totem builds not viable. I played a game with legion where survivors healed fast then my Frenzy pressure, make the killer power almost useless, pure M1. I left killer, I play It only for tome. Survivor main now, but play way less, cause boring, too easy, better play another game. And no, nerfing Coh to self care speed make the perk not bad, it will Be very strong, cause 1 Coh is 3 other free self care without a slot, and with medikits, botanic knowledge or team Mates is disgustin fast heal. My last post to it, no nerf in mid chapter = survivor main, by killer and by money to future dlcs. (MMR survive/kill = skill is dumb garbage).

Got memes and a rather practical example of how to make an ass of yourself trying to use progressive language in a place it doesn't belong.
Also now I'm apparently a terrible person because I hate all manner of things, even some people (primarily racists, bigots and the like, but apparently the existence of hate is by itself wrong now, lol)
Just to everyone out there, some hate is a good thing. It's good to hate people who hurt children, for example. Also something I hate? Having my flight cancelled when I just got through security. You'll notice there are layers, while seeing the first would definitely push me into a violent response, the latter is more a sigh and a text to my wife to come get me.
