DBD needs a replay feature
This would go a long way in helping people improve gameplay as well as curb cheating since every game would be recorded and able to be watched back from any players perspective. Save up to the last 3 or 4 games with an option to download to your computer for longer storage.

Watch my team walk round of the edge of the map doing nothing? Noooo thanks, be a wasted effort in resources and time tbh. I'd rather they just work on an anti-cheat

They stated in the last stream that to incorporate things like a replay system it would have had to have been one of their goals from the beginning of the game, they would have had to built it in from the get-go.
I don't think it's happening, maybe in 2032 when we get Dead By Daylight 2: Electric Boogaloo.

But you could completely ignore the replay system. I can understand why the devs don't want it though, it would be an easy way to expose large flaws in the game.

I would ignore it, still a waste of time though. Most players wont use the system and like I said I'd rather the devs focus on better things.
A better anti cheat and a report system would be better than the whole effort of recording games to rewatch to see if someone is cheating. There are so many things that need addressing first in the game before a theatre is added, plus you need to build a game from the start with that in mind so DBD would have to start completely new... definitely not a good move
